After seeing that cutie from Nanette Lepore last week, we went searching for more great tops by her. We found the Queen Alexandra Wrap Top, which is exotic and romantic looking. Made of 100% silk, this blouse has solid red contrast ruffles at the bell sleeves, a button to secure the wrap on the inside, floral print banding on the V-neck, tie around the waist, and is lined. Besides charcoal shown, it also comes in red.

We think the Shirt Snob is going through a lace phase, there seem to be a lot of them lately that we're covering. This next one has lace too! The Silk with Lace Wrap Top by Rebecca Taylor is a semi-sheer wrap top with a tie at the waist. It has long sleeves, ruching at the back and waist, and lace banding at the V-neck, waist, and cuffs.

Here's a cute one for fall. The Cashcouer Sweater by Maria Bonita Extra is a wrap sweater. It has a tie at the waist, a V-neck, white trim at the front edges and the ties, and slightly puffy short sleeves. It's simple and elegant, a perfect top to wear when you want to dress up a bit.

If you liked the previous blouse by Rebecca Taylor, you may also like this one from her, the Silver Dot Wrap Top. This top is also 100% silk, and it has the same pleats on the shoulders and back as the Habatoi Top. However, instead of the belt it has silver dot embroidery and sequin and mesh appliques on the front. There are also ruffles on the sleeves and bottom hem, a tie on the side, and a V-neck. It comes in two colors, cream and sunrise (which has gold dots, not silver).
Looking for something dressy but not boring? We love the Habatoi Wrap Top by Rebecca Taylor. This 100% silk wrap has ruffled edging on the sleeves, neck and bottom hems, pintuck detailing down the back, and a decorative belt with lace, flowers, and sequins on it. There is also a tie at the back and a deep V-neck. You could dress this blouse down with a pair of pants or wear it with a skirt for a more formal setting. Either way, you'll look great!

Tie tops are all over the place suddenly, the Shirt Snob even saw one in Old Navy this morning (yes, we do shop there sometimes, we wanted our free Flag Tee). This look is easy to pull off only if you wear the correct item underneath, such as Jennifer Good, well known blogger and wife of Canadian rocker Matthew Good. If you are looking for something a little different, here is a good option for you. This Ballerina Wrap from the fall collection by Susanna Monaco comes in zinnia and camel. The 100% merino wool sweater covers more and can be tied on either side. You can wear your summer clothes a little farther into the fall season by wearing this cross-top over them!
If you prefer the traditional tie top, Susanna Monaco is selling an adorable one with embroidery in polenta and a more romantic style tie top with flared sleeves. Please though, whatever you do, don't wear the tie top alone!
