Tube Top by Walter

waltergingham.jpg

Here's a fun one that is typical of the Shirt Snob's tastes. The Tube Top by Walter has a chocolate gingham pattern that we can't help but love. It has a constructed bodice with button detailing down the front, and it's fitted on the top but loser in the bottom half. It can also be worn with or without the straps, so it can be either a tube top or a halter top. We love the versitility!

Calligraphy Print Tube Top by Susana Monaco

monacocalligraphy.jpg

The Shirt Snob has fallen for yet another print. The Calligrapny Print Tube Top by Susana Monaco is very pretty. We can't decide if the design is just random or sort of a wild flower design, but either way we really like it. It is made of mostly silk with contrast banding at the waist which ties in the back as well as banding at the top. It is semi-sheer except at the bust which is lined. Comes in two colors, brownie and olivine. If you like this, you may also like the Calligraphy Cover, also by Monaco. The print is the same, but it ahs short sleeves, a V-neck, buttons at the neck, and ruching at the bust, back, and shoulders.

Full Tie Tube Top by Rachel Pally

pallyfulltie.jpg

Sigh. Now, the Shirt Snob knows that we love shirts, but other clothing items we just can't stand. One of these things is leggings. Black ones we can deal with, but these blue ones are just awful. Really, we just think they ruin such a beautiful top (and that's why we cropped most of them out). We really like the shirt though, so that's why we're showing it to you. We'll just pretend the leggings aren't there. The Full Tie Tube Top by Rachel Pally can also be worn as a halter top. The nine inch banding that is tied at the bust as shown can be tied around the neck or at the back. The edges are unfinished, the botom hem is rounded, and the blouse flows through the body. If you like it as much as we do, please consider wearing a different bottom!

Linen Bandeau by Juicy Couture

juicylinenbandeau_.jpg

Linen is a great fabric for the summer, so when the Shirt Snob saw the Linen Bandeau, we knew we needed to share. From Juicy Couture, this tube top has a tie in the front, elastic banding in the back, and ruching at the bust. It comes in five different colors: black, leather, liquid pink, white, and seagrass. If you'd like a bottom to complete the outfit, try the Linen Capri Drawstring Pant or the Linen Pants.

Edita with Chiffon Babydoll Top by Diane von Furstenberg

dianeedita.jpg

Here at Shirt Snob, we just love Diane von Furstenberg, so when she comes out with a new top, we often like to tell you all about it. Here's one that we are currently drooling over, the Edita with Chiffon Babydoll Top. We miss tube tops, so we are extra excited about this one. This top is another with a great and unusual print, but harder to describe than our last entry. You'll just have to get a closer look at it yourself. This top is 100% silk with a 100% cotton bust and a mostly silk lining, a hidden zipper at the side and boning at the bust.

New Basic Tops by Susana Monaco

susanamonroe.jpg Susana Monaco has come out with a bunch of basics in a bunch of colors. We love them all, so we're going to tell you a bit about each. The Monroe Top is a cross back tank with ruching at the bust and 1 inch banding, and it comes in seven colors. The U Gather Flare comes in six colors, and it's a halter with ruching along the bust and spaghetti straps that tie behind the neck. The Slip Tunic is similar to the Monroe Top but longer. It also has a cross back with ruching at the bust, but this one comes in 11 different colors. If you are interested in a basic tube top, the Tube Flare Tunic is for you. It's just a tube top with a flare bottom and is 19 inches long. It comes in 10 colors. Finally there is the Hudson Tube Top. This one has a gathered detail at the bust and the sides with a flare bottom, and it comes in three colors. There's a lot for you to consider as you think about your summer wardrobes. We are big fans of Susana Monaco, we think all of these tops are great and would compliment just about anyone.

Print Tube by Susana Monaco

susanaprinttube.jpgYou must all think that the Shirt Snob is obsessed with t-shirts today! That isn't the case, although tees are much more comfortable to wear right now for us than anything else. But to prove we also like pretty tops that we can't fit into, here's a great new top from Susana Monaco that we wish you would all buy so we can live our skinny fantasies through you. The Print Tube is pretty and sexy and would hide a small belly if you have one (I know many of you are still working through your holiday weight gain, just admit it). This top has shirred elastic banding at the bust, ruffles at the top hem, and sequin and piping detail at the bottom hem. It's made of a silk/cotton mix with the trim 100% silk.

Tiered Bustier by Plenty by Tracy Reese

plentytiered.gif Looking for something to wear to all of those holiday parties? Here's a great top that can be paired with a nice skirt of pair of pants, but can also easily be dressed down for the rest of the year. The Tiered Bustier in rasberry by Plenty by Tracy Reese is the sweet, romantic look that always works well, yet it's also sexy. Made of 100% silk, the top has floral beadwork throughout as well as chiffon layers and a big velvet bow in the front. There is boning that supports the bust and inner clasps that adjust to fit like a bra and keeps the top from falling down. It has a sweetheart neckline, is fitting at the waist, and has two layers. Also comes in a dress form, the Strapless Tiered Dress.

Delly Star Tube Top by Sky

sky_delly_star_tube_top.jpg If you are going to go out and want to impress, look hot, and it isn't 20 degrees where you live, this is a cute option. The Delly Star Tube Top by Sky is beautiful, fun, and sexy. It has a silver beaded star in the center and a sequin band waist, as well as sequins and silver rings all over the uneven hem. It also has a sheer silk overlay lined in silk with a zipper in the back and elastic trimmings on top. Wear this top anywhere, and you will definitely shine! We may add that the empire waist is good to hide the couple of extra pounds you may be putting on in the next few weeks, although even this top won't hide our pregnant belly.

Shirtly Temple tube top by McGinn

McGinnShirly.jpgHere is a tube top that reminds the Shirt Snob a lot of the Ella Moss tube top we covered last month. The Shirly Temple tube top by McGinn is a great way to show off some skin while still keeping your stomach covered. Again, this looks just like a dress we would have worn when we were three, which makes it so cute in our eyes. We just love smocking right now, and the pink color just adds to the adorableness. If you are looking for something like this but not for such a high price, definitely check this shirt out. It's currently 50% off, selling now for only $46. This won't last long so hurry!
