Charity Tank by 2Belles

2bellescharity.jpg Happy Monday everyone! The Shirt Snob hopes everyone had a great weekend even though we didn't leave you with some nice tops to wear on Friday. We will start off with a bang today though, at least in our opinion. The Charity Tank by 2Belles is near and dear to the Shirt Snob's heart because half of the cost of the top ($24) goes to the American Heart Association, an organization that works closely with the Shirt Snob's sorority's foundation. Made exclusively for Fig Leaves and the AHA, this tank is pink fitted, made of 100% cotton, and has Swarowski crystal hearts at the end of a red ribbon tie. Also, while at Fig Leaves, save 20% on all orders of $100 or more through the end of February. With Valentine's Day coming up, we're sure that many of you will be able to spend that much without a problem! Thank you to for the link!

Garden Party Cami by Rebecca Taylor

taylorgarden.jpg Here is another adorable tank top, but this one is better for when you want to look more put together and dressed up. The Garden Party Cami by Rebecca Taylor is also feminine, but more in the girly, frilly way. It has a ruffle at the top hem, pintuck detail at the bust, embroidery and bead detail at the straps, which are adjustable. There is also a tie at the waist and floral detail throughout. If you like this top, you may also like the Garden Party Dress.

Little Odd Forest Tanks

littleoddforest.jpg The Shirt Snob has been so bad! It's been a very busy week, we haven't been able to post nearly as much as we would have liked. We'll try to make up for it today. Here is a cute website for tank tops, they sort of remind us of the Dandylion tees by Blue Platypus that we found last summer. The tees are cute and sweet and feminine in a very wearable way. A few of our favorites include the Fairies & Toadstools Tank and the Wandering Forest Deer Tank. The best part of this website is that these tanks are under $13. So you can buy a few for the same price as only one tank you've done at other places.

Mirabel Metropolotan Top by Theory

theorymirabel.jpg Here's a cute top that is simple, yet quite flattering and a good staple for your wardrobe. The Mirabel Metropolitan in stucco by Theory is appealing and quite likable; we don't see how anyone could not find it pretty. It is a semi-sheer, with ruching at the shoulders, smocked banding, and a small banding around the edges. There is also a double button closure at the waist. The Shirt Snob loves wrap tops, and this one is a nice option if you are looking for a wrap. Also available in black.

Lace Nadieda by Diane von Furstenberg

dianelacenadieda.jpg Our other Diane von Furstenberg is the Lace Nadieda in mehndi brown, a very soft tank made of 100% micro modal. What makes this top is the 3/4 inch banding that crosses at the bust and the back as well as being on the straps. There is also ruching at the bust and on the back. Although there is no reference to it anywhere in the description, this top reminds us of many of the Greek inspired tops that have been so popular this year. The crisscross of the banding is similar to Athena by Foley + Corinna. This top also comes in black, although the banding is also black and doesn't stand out in quite the same way as in the mehndi brown.

Yoke Top by Foley + Corinna

foleyyoke.jpg Here is a very unusual tank top that will definitely turn heads. The Yoke Top by Foley + Corinna has a print and metallic banding with leather piping at the front top, in a V shape along the bust, turning into the straps. A metalic leather tie makes a V at the back as well as a tie in the back. It is also 100% silk, there is also ruching at the bust, and the tank is lined with 100% cotton. Besides black, the Yoke Top also comes in natural and as a tube dress.

Fine Flurry Printed Babydoll by Free People

freeflurryprint.jpg Here is a cute tank that would be great to wear around the house, to the beach, or to a little less formal event. The Fine Flurry Printed Babydoll by Free People is cute, fun, and laid back. The waist line is just below the bust, and there is hand crocheted lace around the neck line and shoulder straps. The Shirt Snob likes the print, as usual. The pretty little flowers are not very defined, so they look sort of like an impressionist painting on a brown canvas.

Second Skin Shirt by Generra

generrasecondskin.jpg Here's a cute top by Generra if you want something fun and not too complex. The Second Skin Shirt is pretty and sparkly, what else could you want? The tank top is a V-neck, has sequin detailing on the bust are with a wrap look that actually ties in the back with two long pieces of fabric. It comes in three colors, hunter as shown, black, and brick. One word of caution, they say this line of Second Skin is so comfortable, you almost don't know you're wearing clothes, so make sure when you leave the house, you are wearing the top, not your "first skin."

May Tank by Foley + Corrina

foleymay.jpg Another cute tank for those of you who live in the south. The May Tank by Foley + Corrina should have come out in May, but that would probably make too much sense. Regardless, it's super cute, and the Shirt Snob really wants one. This 100% silk top is a low V-neck with spaghetti straps, and 2 inch elastic ruching around the bust. There are three different silk overlays under the banding, each with it's own pattern. The bottom also blouces out, so it isn't tight in case you have something to hide in the belly area. One of the patterns on the shirt is also made into another top, the Print Beatrice Top. This one also has spaghetti straps, ruching at the front center, and a band of decorative beadwork that ties in the back. That is also made a little longer into the Print Beatrice Dress.

Poppy Tank by Ella Moss

ellapoppytank.jpg Ok, we know that the Shirt Snob said Fall is officially here in our books, but we've found another tank top that we just love. It's still warm in Florida and California right? People in those states need clothes too. The Poppy Tank by Ella Moss is simply lovely, we can't get enough of the print. There is ruching at the bust and 1/2 inch banding is at the bust and moves into the straps of the top. Besides vanilla, this tank also comes in coral, and spearmint. There is also a Poppy Shirt in coral and spearmint with cap sleeves and ruching at the shoulders as well as the Poppy Dress in spearmint and vanilla with a halter, knotting detail at the center and ruching at the sides and waist.
