Chor Bazaar

chorbazaar.jpg

Chor Bazaar is an Indian fused t-shirt company based out of New York that we just discovered. They want to show both India today as well as how India was to our parents' generation and before, and they also want to move away from what mainstream media portrays as Indian culture. Right now they have eight designs for the ladies, and all of them are pretty and quite unique from other t-shirt companies we've written about. Our favorites are Cyber Paisley and Ladki.

Micro Stripe T-Shirt by Splendid

Splendid makes some of the best basic tops we have seen, and we all need staples like these in our closets. The Micro Stripe T-Shirt is a striped jersey top with banding at the crossover V-neck, ruching and button tab detail at the cuffs, and short sleeves. It is semi-sheer and available in turf, lagoon, and ultraviolet.

tFuse

tfuse.jpg

tFuse is a new t-shirt company similar to Threadless. You can submit your design and vote on what you like. As they put it, they are a social networking community that has ongoing t-shirt design and video contests. If you are sick of Facebook and looking for a different way to socialize online, this is a neat option. They seem to be fairly new as they don't have a ton of designs yet, but we like what we see so far. Every design also seems to be available in both male and female sizes too.

Vintage Roadside is a t-shirt company that takes their images from original graphics and history of roadside culture, specifically from the 1930s through 1960s. Their shirts have skating rinks, motels, diners, and more. Each design is available in both men's and women's sizes. They also donate a portion of their sales to the National Trust for Historic Preservation. A couple of our favorites include Indio Bowl and Moonlight Motel.
