Jamila Blouson by Miss Sixty
Here's a cute sweater by Miss Sixty, the Jamila Blouson sweater. It's simple, looks warm, and will match almost everything. At this time of year, at least in Boston, you don't know what the temperature will be. Will it be in the 50s? 70? Better to take a sweater like this with you wherever you go just in case. The sweater has a front zipper, faux fur lining, leather trim along the zipper, and a leather tab at the collar.

Ray Plaid Sweater by Marc Jacobs
Here's a great sweater designed by Marc by Marc Jacobs, the Ray Plaid Sweater. It's sort of a combo between a sweater and a jacket, but no matter what you call it, this top is stunning. The top is knit with 100% wool, with a two button closure in the front, flap pockets to each side, and a 7 inch slit at the back. What we love is the trim, in a bright pink plaid along the front, pockets, and cuffs, which truly makes this coat, and you in it, stand out. The trim is made of a wool, nylon, and cashmere mix, and we think this sweater will truly keep you warm this winter. It's certainly one of the Shirt Snob's favorites, if only our pregnant belly would fit into it!

Free People's Belted Chin Yarn Sweater
Yes, the Shirt Snob found yet another top that she loves from Free People. This one is one of those sweater coats that you can wear as a coat in the fall and as a sweater in the winter. The Belted Chin Yarn Sweater is made of wool and acrylic with wide-ribbed patterning of the thick multi-colored yarn. It has oversized buttons all up the front to close it as well as the tie, and it has a large collar. We love the oversized comfy feel of it, this is the perfect sweater to curl up in as the weather gets cooler. And the multi-colored yarn gives it a lot of character. It comes in two colors, multi and soft neutral.
Crop Tie Sweater by S.A.Y.
We know that tie tops are already all over the place. If you can buy it at Old Navy, it's pretty mainstream. However, here is a slight twist on it, one that we think you may like. The Crop Tie Sweater by S.A.Y. is a fun way to continue the tie top trend into the fall. It is made of Italian yarn, hand loomed, and very fuzzy and cozy. This top is made to order, so expect a week or two lag time when you order it. Besides brown with turquoise, this top also comes in pesto with brown.

Princess Wrap by Alice + Olivia
So this next top is not something everyone can wear. It's bold and loud, but if you have that type of personality, you should be able to get away with this sweater. The Shirt Snob isn't sure if we could, but we sure do love it! The Princess Wrap by Alice + Olivia is a 100% wool sweater with a belted waist that ties in the front. There is also a 2 inch band at the cuff and a 3 inch band at the collar, and the sleeves are slightly belled. Besides the belt, the sweater also closes with a triple hook and eye closure. What really makes this sweater stand out is the colors and the angle at which the stripes are located. You can't help but be noticed wearing this. Also available in red/yellow/black.

Cocoon Kit Cardigan by Free People
We love the Cocoon Kit Cardi by Free People, a perfect sweater for the fall. It is fitted, has a ribbed collar that comes together slightly to one side with a single button, which gives it a scoop neck. You could wear this with a simple camisole or something a bit more visual like a lacy top. This sweater comes in two colors, garnet and black at this site as well as brown crunch heather, dusty sage heather, and icy blue heather at Bloomingdales. Tons of colors for such a great sweater and a great price, you could buy more than one! Also check out the Romanian Marl, which to us is identical to the Coocon Cardi.

Jamey Cashmere by Theory
With the cold weather coming, what could we want more than cashmere sweaters? There is nothing as soft and cozy and fun to wear. Here's a great sweater if you want a new cashmere addition to your wardrobe. The Jamey Cashmere by Theory is simple and yet quite pleasing. The cardigan has 3/4 inch banding at the front, cuffs, and bottom hem. What makes this sweater different is the belt around the center, which is such a great contrast in black to the stark white of the sweater. The sweater comes in grey as well, also with a black belt.

Cashmere Argyle V Neck by Alice + Olivia
The Shirt Snob cannot get enough of all the argyle sweaters that are out there this fall. They are all so cute and preppy, it makes us want to buy pencils and notebooks like all the other students out there. This specific argyle, the Cashmere Argyle V Neck by Alice + Olivia, is fun and yet nice and simple. There is 2 1/2 inch banding at the bottom and 6 inch banding at the cuffs, and oval patches cover the elbows in the same colors as the sweater. And who doesn't love cashmere? Besides the Cream/Tan/Chocolate shown, this also comes in Chocolate/Pink/White for a more colorful look.

Easy Lover Jacket by Joie
Here is a cute sweater for the fall designed by Joie. The Easy Lover Jacket is cute and would look great on its own as well as with a top underneath. The fall colors of crimson, orange, yellow, and brown are what the Shirt Snob loves the most though. We are actively looking forward to fall, and anything that gets us in the mood for autumn we love. This sweater has 5 leather buttons in the front, camel colored trim on the bottom hem, sleeves and collar, and it's 50% wool and 50% cashmere. Also available in brick/garnet.

Cashmere Zip Up by Vince
Here is a great sweater to keep you warm this winter. The Cashmere Zip Up in Forest by Vince, who is known for his great cashmere, is super soft and super comfortable. It reminds the Shirt Snob of skiing and sipping hot chocolate in front of a fire in a log cabin. There is a front zipper, 6" fold over the collar, 5" banding at the cuffs, and 3" banding at the hem. Welt pockets are at the side, and a reindeer design on the back. Also comes in Graphite.
