Funnel Neck Cape by Shoshanna

The Funnel Neck Cape by Shoshanna is really more of a coat, but we really like the striped felt so we'll overlook this. There is a funnel collar, off-center, hidden five snaps, self-belt tie at the waist, welt hip pockets, and 3/4 length sleeves. It is lined and made from a wool and polyester blend.

Solid Wool Coat by Marc by Marc Jacobs

What we like most about the Solid Wool Coat by Marc by Marc Jacobs is the maroon color. What a fun way to separate yourself from all the black coats out there this winter. There is a quilted fold-over collar, quilted self-belt, five buttons down the front, an inverted back pleat, quilted banding at the patch hip pockets and cuffs, and long sleeves. It is lined, 38 inches long, and made from a virgin wool and nylon blend.

New Chrystie Jacket by Elizabeth and James

We adore the New Chrystie Jacket by Elizabeth and James, probably because the Shirt Snob cannot get enough plaid this time of year. But it is also so tailored and sophisticated. It has six buttons down the front, a rounded hem, knife pleats at the waist, ruching at the shoulders, frayed mesh trim at the mandarin collar, and long sleeves. Would look great with so many outfits, you have tons of versatility with this piece.

Army Twill Jacket by Charlotte Ronson

We know that the Army Twill Jacket by Charlotte Ronson isn't super special, but we adore the army influence in it. There is a hidden zipper closure, four pleated button-flap pockets, stud detail at the bust, a drawstring at the waist, metal rig detail at the placket and button-tab epaulets, pleated flap shoulder pocket, zip closure at the cuffs, and long sleeves. It is also lined with Sherpa.

Taishir Jacket by Diane von Furstenberg

Today we are going to look at coats and jackets. As fun as summer has been, much of the country is going to start to get a bit cooler soon, and we need to start thinking about what to wear over our favorite blouses and shirts. First up is the Taishir Jacket by Diane von Furstenberg, which has a stand out print that will look great over your more simple tops. It has a shawl collar, self-belt tie at the waist, and 3/4 length batwing sleeves. It is also lined and 27 inches long.

Plaid Cascading Blazer

Fall is the best time for plaid in our opinions, so of course we adore the Plaid Cascading Blazer by Free People right now. This jacket has a ruffled collar and front, patch pockets, pleat at the back, button tab closure on the front, and buttons at the cuffs. It is available in red and blue plaid.
