With Autumn coming up sooner than most of us would like, the Shirt Snob has been paying close attention to jackets and coats. We need one desperately, and the Thorne Trench by Diane von Furstenberg is our favorite so far. This flannel coat has six buttons down the front, button tab detail at the waist, pleating at the front and back, button flap pockets at the sides french cuffs, 3/4 length sleeves, and is lined. It's quite handsome too with great colors for fall!

The Shirt Snob is really loving these cute cropped jackets that are in the stores. They were certainly needed in the summer where we come from, and they can be used into the Fall as well. The vintage inspired Heather Crop Jacket by Parameter is one great example. It has white buttons down the front and at the bust and cuffed 3/4 length sleeves, white stitching, and a pleated panel beneath the bust. Wear over your favorite sun dress for a really adorable look!

Looking for an elegant cover up when you are wearing dressier clothes? Then Aubrey Cardigan by Elizabeth Gillett Ltd is perfect for you. It has a bow at the neck with hidden snaps to hold it together. Wear it to a wedding or other formal settings over your strappy dresses to stay warm!

We really like the Slope Jacket by Vince because of how unique it looks. So many dressier jackets are boring, and this one certainly isn't. Made of a cashmere, alpaca and wool mixture, it has elbow length sleeves, a single button at the front, and is available in three colors: heather black, heather coastal (which looks just like heather black in our opinion), and heather coal.

We love this next one, the Tailor Made Vexin Blazer in Navy by Rock & Republic because of how great it looks with a t-shirt. It has five buttons on the cuffs with ribbon detail, a single button closure at the front, a pocket on the right breast, two pockets on the front, ribbon trimming on the collar, pockets, and back, and a hidden pocket inside. Wear it with a tee or something a little more dressy. Either way, you're sure to look great!

Here's a unique top to start off our week. The Taylor Wide Sleeve Hoodie by Mike & Chris has a removable hood! There's also two snaps at the front, quilted banding and ruching at the waist, and elbow length bell sleeves with two inch cuffs. You can wear it more as a top without the hood or as a jacket with the hood. We love how versatile it is!

The next eyelet top we found was the Eyelet Jacket by Cake Couture. It has clasps at the front, ends at the waist, is long sleeved, has a collar, and there is eyelet detailing throughout. It'd be perfect for day or night this summer!

Rebe has new clothes for spring. You might remember them from last August when we first discovered this company. We really like the Della Tank, Emmitt Jacket, Sara Sweatshirt, and the Cardi Sweater. There's also a lot of cute tops on sale too.

We love how polished the Hopsack Jacket by Rebecca Taylor looks. This textured jacket has four buttons down the front, seam detail and ruching above the bust and at the back, elbow length sleeves, and is lined. It's available in olive and cream and would be a great way to cover up in style this summer.

The Shirt Snob loves jackets for spring and fall. We aren't a fan of big bulky coats (although we realize that when it's freezing out, they can be best), but jackets can really enhance an outfit. One of our new favorites is this cute one, the Metallic Linen Jacket by Walter. It has cropped belled sleeves, a high neck, four large buttons down the front, and pockets on both sides. It is quite elegant and can really make your outfit sparkle.
