Happy Monday everyone! We hope that you all enjoyed the Superbowl yesterday. The Shirt Snob is excited to have our Sundays back, free to force the husband to do what she wants, instead of being stuck watching football each and every week, whether or not the Patriots are on. To reward ourselves now that the season is over, let's shop! Here is a great top that we love, the Dream Spaghetti Top by Lotta Stensson. This halter truly is a dream. It has metal sequins, embroidery, and wooden beads at the bottom hem and on the bust. It ties behind the neck, has ruching at the bust, and elastic banding on the back. We think this shirt is such a great addition to any outfit. It's fun and sexy and will definitely turn heads. Very similar is the Rustic Dream Tie Back Halter, which is just a little different in the beading and in black. Both of these tops remind us of the beach, which is probably the reason we like them so much. For those of us not going south this winter, summer is only four months away!

Here's another cute top for spring that the Shirt Snob wishes she could wear (only three more months until the pregnant belly starts to look a little more normal!). The String Halter in pucker by Susana Monaco is definitely a must have. There is ruffle detail, ruching at the bust, and 2 inch embroidered elastic banding below the bust. The tie behind the neck also has bead detailing at the end. This top also comes in coco, and there's a similar top, the Pacific Island Tube Top in coco and dark sage.

The Shirt Snob has found a fun top that is a must for all you fun gals out there. The Wyatt Top by Diane von Furstenberg is such a cute top, one that will definitely make you the center of attention no matter where you go. Made of 100% silk, it has a surged bottom hem, ruching at the sides, a twisted knot at the bust, and is double layered. The print is so great though, it's a tie dye that looks like a floral print from far away. It almost looks like a better version of a hawaiin shirt. A similar top by von Furstenberg that you might like if you think the Wyatt top is hot is the Dot Tunic as well as the Pomdor Dress, which are also in the tie dye look.

Here is a beautiful Lotta halter top offered by Playhouse Clothing that the Shirt Snob wishes she had seen sooner in the year with her growing belly and the cooler days outside. The Passion Tie Halter is sassy and pretty and would look good on just about anyone. Made of 100% silk, there is a double layer with aqua over a fuschia color, which gives the top a unique look. There is a fuschia tie bow in the front at the bust so you can tighten it to fit your body. The best part is the detailing along the neckline hem, and sides, stitching with sequins made to look like flowers. It's simply beautiful. If you are still interested in halter tops at this time of year, we highly recommend looking into this top.
Edited to add: We just noticed this top in Lucky Magazine. You can save 25% on this top and everything else at Playhouse Clothing if you enter "luckymag" at checkout!

The theme today is patchwork. Here is another cute patchwork halter, this time from...Free People, big surprise! The Patchwork Halter has cottom pieces and sewn together with a ruffled edge and it ties behind the next with spaghetti straps. This halter is cute, flirty, and fun, and it'd be a great addition to your wardrobe if you are a little on the younger side. It probably wouldn't work for women in their 30s or older.

Since it's going to be over 90 degrees here in Boston today,weI refuse to feel guilty for finding another great "summer" top. The Rose Halter by Lotta Stensson is so lovely, how could you all not want us to show it to you? This 100% hand-embroidered silk halter has an elastic band around the high waist, rose and sequin detailing throughout, and the spaghetti straps tie behind the neck. The Shirt Snob is most enamored with the handkerchief look of the top, how below the waist it's so flowy and sexy and fun. The layer of colors makes this shirt more interesting and cool.

The Shirt Snob is a big fan of ingwa; melero, and with every new shirt that comes out we are more and more enamored of this designer. The Sequin Leaf Jersey Halter Top is a stunning top, one we want more than anything. There is metalic and bead detailing at the front right below the bust in a leaf like pattern. There is ruching at the bust, and it ties behind the neck. We love the color, copper is very fitting for fall, and the gold detailing looks great with it. This halter also comes in ivory and black. Similar tops include the Mini Sequin Leaf Halter and the Flutter Sleeve Sequin Leaf Shirt.

Today we discovered the cutest halter top by ingwa; melero. The Crochet Ribbon Halter Top is a fun and funky top that would be great to wear to a party. The crochet lace is at the waist, just below the bust area. Being that it is crochet, has holes in it. This is not something that you could wear if you are conservative in your clothing, but for those that like a little adventure in what they wear, this is certainly for you. This shirt also has ruching at the bust, a single pleat in front, and it ties behind the neck. Besides orange/berry, it also comes in striped.

The Shirt Snob hates this time of year. We want to buy more summer tops because there are still new and cute ones coming out all the time, yet we want to prepare for the colder months that are coming ahead. Since we posted on a fall shirt already today, we've decided to show you the new Lotta Stensson halter tops we just discovered this morning. The Jaipur Knots Spaghetti Top is fun and sexy and bohemian, what is there not to love? Made of 100% silk, it has bead detailing and hand embroidery throughout. This halter is lined, has an elastic at the empire waist, with spaghetti straps that tie behind the neck and a surged bottom hem. Besides midnight, this top also comes in Earth, soft pink, and turquoise.

Even though summer won't be lasting very much longer in many parts of the country, there is another halter top that we need to post about. The LaROK Halter Top in Platinum Blonde is a new favorite of the Shirt Snob. The color is nice and the cut of the halter we like, but what makes this shirt stand out is the tie. The straps are full of brown, wooden beads which compliment the platinum blonde color of the top well. There is also a nice frayed look to the tie which adds a little spunk to the top. The tie hangs down to about the middle of the back.
