P&J Styleworks Closing!
P&J Styleworks is closing their store due to some medical conditions of the owners. We are sad to see them go, and wish them luck in the future. They are having a sale to get rid of all their remaining inventory. Use the code "SURGERY50" to receive 50% off everything in their store. All sales are final and no exchanges or returns will be allowed. Some good deals include the Knotted Tank by Rachel Pally, the Mini Waldo Stripe Halter Top by Ella Moss, and the Ysamin Top by Tart.

Shirt Snob Holiday Shopping Guide
This year seemed to have flown by, but now is the time to start thinking about the holidays. More specifically, what you are going to buy everyone! The Shirt Snob hasn't come up with a shopping guide in the past because we believe that every person is quite unique in what they like or dislike in a shirt. Also, tops don't stay around for too long. They usually sell out and that is it! However, the one big exception to this is t-shirts. So our shopping guide is going to be all about tees! Most of these companies also offer tees in men's sizes too. And don't forget to check out our archives as well. There are tons of other great companies that we've written about in the past.
Favorite Designs
Artistic Tees
Funny Tees
If you would like to buy a designer top for someone, we personally recommend gift certificates so they can choose themselves what work best. However, if you would like to buy one anyway, our favorites shops include Shop Bop,
Pink Mascara,
Couture Candy,
Bluefly,
Max Studio,
Free People, Tobi,
Maneater Threads and Rebe. Happy shopping!

Controversy at Threadless
We just discovered there's a bit of a controversy over at Threadless. It looks like someone submitted a design for a tee that was not their own work, and it's become a huge issue over there. Threadless has a little write up about the situation. Luckily, the tee, called Tagged, is still available, but we're doubting it'll be reprinted. So if you like it, get it now.

70 Star 7 Tees for Charity
70 Star 7 is a company whose mission is to "see the world positively impacted by giving to charities and our individual communities using creativity as the platform." They do this through shirts, shoes, skateboards, and other items that artists can use and mark up. Right now they have a few t-shirts for sale with 50% of the proceeds going directly to charities, a different one for each tee. More of the proceeds go to someone the artist knows who is in need in his own community. Unfortunately, the company only seem to sell men's tees. Since it's for charity, we thought we'd tell you about them anyway, but hopefully in the future they'll remember us women!

Help Screech Save His House
We aren't sure if you heard this latest shirt news, so we thought we'd bring it to you just in case. The actor that played Screech on Saved by the Bell is in danger of losing his house. Dustin Diamond needs to pay $250,000 in order for the house not to forclose. So he is autographing shirts with his face on them and selling them at $15 to $20 each. You can either buy a shirt or just get more info at his website.

The Shirt Snob's Back!
Hello lovely readers! How the Shirt Snob has missed you all! As you can probably guess, we gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby boy named Anderson on April 9th. It's been a bit of an adjustment having a new baby in the house, but we are all doing well and very very happy. Thank you to boss Jay for posting while we were away, we really appreciate it!

Vere Chocolate For Your Weekend Cravings
What's better than a weekend of shirt shopping? How about a weekend of chocolate and shirt shopping. We were recently looking over some of the more "natural" offerings at Treehugger and came across Vere chocolate.
Manhattan-based Vere (pronounced “very”) prides themselves on being a chocolate company for the modern consumer. They promote quality, health and ecological benefits, while not sacrificing a bit of flavor. Vere uses a single varietal, sustainably grown and harvested bean found only in the Ecuadorian rainforest. These beans are certified by the Rainforest Alliance to be grown without pesticides and in accordance to standards that protect the rainforest and the farmers who grow them.
Okay - now all we need to do is head to NYC and get some this weekend along with some shirts of course. :-)
