Wrap Top with Tie by Ella Moss

ellamosswraptie.jpg

One thing we love about Ella Moss is that many of her tops are very reasonably priced. Take this next top for instance, the Wrap Top with Tie. This blouse has a V-neck, ruching at the bust and back, ties at the waist, has a ruffle detail at the shoulders, and the bottom hem is unfinished. It is very soft, simple yet elegant, and it's only $77! Besides white, it comes in indigo and black.

DeeDee Top by Bellekat

bellekatdeedee.jpg

We know that this next top isn't exactly perfect for summer. But we know some of you must need or want something that covers you up a little more (live in the Arctic maybe?), and we love this shirt, so we decided we needed to share. The DeeDee Top by Bellekat is 100% cotton, with 2 inch cuffs on 3/4 length sleeves, a tie at the waist and 1 inch banding at the neck and front. We love wrap blouses, this one being no exception. The flowery paisley print is also very cute.

Deep V Blouse by Catherine Malandrino

malandrinoembroidery.jpg

We just found the cutest blouse by Catherine Malandrno, the Deep V Blouse with Embroidery Lines in Ivory Petal. This V-neck top is 100% cotton, has sleeves that go to about the elbow, and has a beautiful boarders along the seams. The shirt is feminine and very sexy with the low front, and it's color combination is very pretty. This contrasts nicely with the slightly bohemian look it has. It's an unusual top, and we love it!

Sunflower Embroidery and Cutout Blouse by Catherine Malandrino

malandrinocutout.jpg

Here is a cute blouse by Catherine Malandrino, the Sunflower Embroidery and Cutout Blouse. It has eyelet and embroidery detailing throughout, is sheer, has four button closures at the front, scallop detailing around the edges, and 3/4 length sleeves. The Shirt Snob thinks that this might be a hard top to wear, not one that anyone can get away with. But if paired correctly, it could really pull together an outfit.

darylktuxedo.jpg

Happy Friday readers! Boy, is the Shirt Snob ready for this week to be over! We're never getting sick again, especially with a three-week old in the house! To make ourselves feel better, we may buy this next top. The V Neck Tuxedo Tee by Daryl K is cute, and we absolutely love the color. Sure, it is more a fall color, but you can really wear it whenever. It can just carry you into the fall. This top has ruching at the front and back with banding detail at the neck and the waist. It is semi-sheer and made of mostly tencel.

Artemis Smocked Lace Top by Paul & Joe

pauljoeartemis.jpg Here's a very cute top that has such a feminine and innocent look to it that we just can't resist. We almost feel like you could find the same thing for a young child, yet we rather like this about the shirt. The Artemis Smocked Lace Top by Paul & Joe has floral embroidery and stitching detail on the front. At the arms, neck, bottom hem, and back is a sheer French lace banding. A ribbon drawstring ties at the front, and there is ruching at the empire waist and verticle pin tucking throughout. This blouse would be perfect for when you meet your man's parents or for a nice picnic in the countryside. Besides jaune, this also comes in blanc.

Maneater Threads

fordfloralkimonotop.jpg If you are interested in independent designers, go check out Maneater Threads, a new online boutique. The company has items from a number of designers (including Kara Janx from the second season of Project Runway-we like her Kimono Dress). The site offers a personal shopper, gift wrapping, seasonal promotionis, and special offers for shoppers who register. Some of the items we like from the site include the Black Skull Camisole (and we all know how big skulls are right now) by Soul Revival, the Wicked Top (hey, the Shirt Snob lives in Boston after all!) also by Soul Revival, and the Floral Kimono Top by Geren Ford. The site also offers accessories, dresses, lingerie, pants, and skirts.

Kimono Top by Geren Ford

fordkimono.jpg If you were drawn to the Kimono's in Memoirs of a Geisha, here's a great top for you. The Kimono Top by Geren Ford will work great with any body type and is very comfortable. Made from a lightweight silk, it has a V-neck, cap sleeves, and a loose fit. There is a colored band starts on the V-neck and goes down the front of the shirt to the hem in a Y shape. An adjustable silk drawstring ties around the empire waist as well. Comes in two different colors, floral and striped.
