Accessory Friday-Penny Ponies by MaryMo

For Accessory Friday, we are going to look at the Penny Ponies by MaryMo. We remember wearing similar items in our hair when we were really little, but Penny Ponies are more adult versions. Why wear a boring pony tail when you can spice it up a bit? They come in groups of four, with each four having different designs. The Shirt Snob really likes Made in the Shade and Double Take the best. Check out the rest of MaryMo's store, there's a bunch of other cute things for sale too.

Accessory Friday-Yen Jewelry

We've just discovered Yen Jewelry, and we're wondering how we've never heard of them before. They have some amazing, unique pieces that we'd do just about anything for. Some of our favorites include the Gold Fill and Lemon Topaz Necklace, the Gold Fill and Smoky Quartz Necklace, the Gold Fill and Green Amethyst Earrings, and the Maya Earrings.

Accessory Friday-Oktak Handbags

This week we're showing you some bags that we just love from Oktak. There are a ton of great fabrics to choose from, and the bags are a lot of fun. Some of our favorites include the Green Pods Large Tote, the Green Wallpaper Flowers Magazine Bag, the Orange Kitschy Flowers Square Rainy Day Bag, and the Tree Top Kitties Two-Tone Pouch. All of their products are made from vintage fabric from the 60s and 70s, except the rainy day bags which are made from bright-colored, water-repellent fabric. Each is also either one of a kind or one of only two or three, so you can pretty much guarantee you won't see someone else with your purse on the street. Oktak also sells baby products that have these great prints too!

Accessory Friday-Tucker Paisley

We haven't looked at purses for a long time now. So for Accessory Friday this week, we're showcasing Tucker Paisley. The Shirt Snob has never been a huge paisley fan in the past, but we think it's mostly because we didn't ever see good paisley. The prints are these bags are really pretty and makes us love it! Some of our favorites include The Molly Shoulder, The Sue-Sue, and The Julia (check out the bamboo handles!). They also sell card holders, which the Shirt Snob is now wanting for her Mommy cards!

Accessory Friday-OM Home

The Shirt Snob is buying our first home (yay!), and we are terribly excited about throws and pillows and carpets all of a sudden. We don't know much about interior decorating, but we do know what we like. So when we discovered OM Home, we knew we had to share! The line has a huge Indian influence that we love, and we are so enamored with everything on the site that we can't choose a favorite. We were originally interested by the CCFC Pillows, but then we discovered matching placemats and napkins, and from there everything got blurry because we find everything irresistible. We just hope that OM Home expands to bedding because we want our entire house with these products.

Accessory Friday-Photo Albums by This Is J

For Accessory Friday this week, we have discovered some beautiful photo albums by This Is J. Not enough people use photo albums nowadays, instead keeping their pictures online. While we love being able to send pictures to our friends and family in a matter of seconds, we certainly do miss being able to sit down and look at pictures in a book. We are trying to use our photo albums more and print out more pictures to put in them. One thing that we really think will help is placing your pictures in the most handsome album you can find. And for us, that is certainly these ones. Each is hand cut and crafted from suede and delicately embroidered. The photos are protected by a PVC/acid free sleeve, and each album holds 24 4x6 pictures. The albums are available in three colors: turquoise, green, and brown.

Accessory Friday-Branch Necklace by Rebecca Haas

For Accessory Friday this week, we have to show you this necklace because we just love it. The Branch Necklace by Rebecca Haas is simple yet so elegant. The Shirt Snob doesn't wear silver, but if we did we'd be buying this up! It is made by hand, casted from a real coral branch. It's sterling silver on a 16 inch silk cord. And it's made by an independent designer, so support the little guy!

Accessory Friday-Fabric Belts by Belle Bags

The Shirt Snob loves fabric belts (we almost designed one ourselves at 1154 Lill earlier this week), so when we discovered these cute ones by Belle Bags, we knew we had to share. They are perfect for taking a drab outfit and making it more interesting and fun. Each belt is 1 1/2 inches wide and about 40 inches long. They have the same fabric on both sides, are stitched with a contrasting color, and have either a dark wood or acrylic buckle. There are only three different patterns available right now, but you can see from the picture that more have been made in the past, so let's home they become available again soon!
