There are some really neat pieces in the new Metal collection by Anne Maa. Many of the pieces are one of a kind, and they are fully of imperfections and irregularities that make them so neat and unique. The Shirt Snob doesn't wear silver much, but if we did, we'd want a whole lot of these! Our favorites include the Thin 3 Ring Set, the Sterling Swirl Bracelet, the Wrap Ring Set, and the Sterling Cross Blue Topaz Necklace.
Also, through the month of July get 15% off your order at Anne Maa with the coupon code "shirtsnob."

For Accessory Friday, we thought the Market Bags by Jaye Hersh (who started Shop Intuition) would be nice. These bags are stylish, come in two colors, and can be monogrammed. The Totes' and Weekenders' interiors are lined with canvas, have zip and slide pockets, and a coin purse or luggage tag. The Messanger Bag has the same pockets but also a velcro closure and zipper for the main pouch. The best part is that $35 of each purchase of these bags will go to the International Rescue Committee which provides education for war-affected children around the world.

For Accessory Friday, we thought we'd focus on the head. We just discovered the Trisse Head Scarf, available in black and white and curry and white at Language, and we think it's adorable. It has an elastic band at the nape of the neck, so everything stays where it should and it's easy to take on and off. This is all concealed by the tie, so no one has to know! It's also 100% silk. And don't forget that you can use the discount "shirtsnob" at Language on this and all other non-sale items through the year.

For Accessory Friday this week, we've found these cute bags by Mad Imports. The Fortaleza Bag would be perfect for a day at the beach. It is made of hand wrapped raffia disks so it's perfect for your beach towel, books, and a cover up. During the winter use it in your house to show off your crafts (yarn would look great it in) or as an accent piece. The bag is available in ocean, apple, and sunflower.

You may remember that we wrote about Tucker Paisley recently. The company was kind enough to send the Shirt Snob a card holder as a thank you, so we thought we'd review it here. We've decided to use it for our Mommy cards, but they can obviously be used for any cards that you may have. The one we received is cream with a red design. It is lined in red satin and is quite pretty.
The card holder fits about eight of our Mommy cards, but the cards are super thick so you'd be able to fit more of they're smaller. It's easy to get them in and out, one just needs to squeeze the sides a bit. The holder seems to be high quality with good seams, sturdy materials, and the Tucker Paisley logo right where it should be. We figure that each card holder is probably slightly different because of how the pattern ends up on the holder. But we just love the paisley design and the color combinations offered on their site.
The people at Tucker Paisley have also been wonderful. We've corresponded with them some, and they are friendly and helpful. We am very pleased with the card holder, and we would definitely buy from them again in the future. The Shirt Snob cannot recommend them enough!

Yes, we realize that photography is not exactly an accessory. However, we can't get enough of these prints and really wanted to share them with the world. IS Photography, named for the photographer Irene Suchocki, has a ton of beautiful photographs that are both haunting and nostalgic. We love them so much that we want them all over our house! Some of our favorites include Charms of the Marsh, I Will Follow, Contact, and The Line of Beauty. She also has a website that you may want to check out too.

The Baby Bug Boutique has a little bit of everything. They sell mostly bags and check book covers, and their prints are very diverse. There's 60's prints like the Green Groovy Swirls Credit Card Money Wallet, punk looks such as the Polka Dot Sugar Skulls Photo Tote Bag, Asian inspiration like the Asian Sun Umbrellas Mini Messenger Book Tote Bag and the Asian Inspired Boxy Tote Book Diaper Bag, and more. Our favorite is probably the bohemian look, such as the Pink Brown Boho Flower Fabric Checkbook Cover. This store has a lot of stuff on sale and a great rating, so check them out!

When the Shirt Snob discovered Lavender Hill Gifts, we were super excited. Not only are the purses here really cute, but the designer is also a sorority sister of the Shirt Snob! Some of our favorites include the Little Black Dress Purse, the Finish Line Purse, Summer by the Sea, and California Dreamin. Our ultimate favorites is obviously the "Handful of Attitude" Alpha Phi Purse. Lavender Hill Gifts sells belts as well.

The Shirt Snob has just discovered some really pretty note cards at The Succulent Wife. They are the Foliage Note Cards, the Flowers 4 Note Cards, and the Flowers 1 Note Cards. These are all from the Glitzy & Golden note card series. They are all blank inside and come in packages of six. Handwritten notes are not as popular as they used to be, but they should be used more often. Write an old friend in style. After all, we all love to get good mail!
