Brand of the Free
The Shirt Snob is shocked that we have never written about Brand of the Free before, but we cannot find anything about them in our archives. This t-shirt company uses 100% organic cotton tees as they think you should be able to look great while remaining socially responsible. They are all made in the USA as well. We adore their designs too, especially Birds on a Wire, Green Light, and Re-Recycle.

We love the laid back feel of the Leeann Dolman Top by Joie. It has a pretty floral print with a tie and three buttons at the split V-neck, pintucking at the front and back, smocked elastic banding at the bottom hem and cuffs, and elbow-length dolman sleeves. Wear with your favorite pair of comfy jeans!
Elsie Blouse by Elie Tahari
The eye catching circle print of the Elsie Blouse by Elie Tahari is what first drew us in, but there are many other interesting features to this blouse. It has six hidden snap closures at the front, pleating at the scoop neck, a tie at the waist, ruching at the cuffs, and short raglan sleeves. It is semi-sheer with a lined body, and it's also 100% silk.
I'm a Hot Tee
I'm a Hot Tee is a new t-shirt company that wants to be funny without being crude. We like this as we prefer to wear our t-shirts wherever we want. Who wants to think about who may see their inappropriate t-shirt? Tees are supposed to be thought free in our opinion. So we love this idea. Right now they have four designs, and our favorite is Hoverboard. Each design is available in both men's and women's sizes.

Want to add a some curves to your body? The Cashmere One Button Cardigan by Vince can help with that. This sweater has a single button at the waist and colorblocking there that gives the illusion of an hourglass figure. There's also ribbed banding at the crew neck, waist, and cuffs and 3/4 length sleeves. Made of 100% cashmere.
Ellembee
Ellembee is an Etsy store with some beautiful t-shirts and hoodies. The designer is a former bedding designer who decided to take the leap into clothing. We especially like Twigs, Killer Cattails, and Lacy Pomegranate V-Neck Short Sleeved Shirt. There's also an MySpace page devoted to Ellembee!

Maybe it's because we need some cheering up with all the cold and wet weather because we totally adore yellow tops lately. The Solid Tie Cardigan by Splendid is certainly a great sweater to lift your mood. It has ribbed banding at the shawl collar, a tie belt at the waist, rolled edge at the hem and cuffs, and long sleeves. Besides lemon, it's also available in navy if you prefer darker colors in the winter.
Melbourne Cami by Ella Moss
We found one black and white top earlier this week, and we're happy to have discovered another. The Melbourne Cami by Ella Moss
has horizontal stripes, crochet knit trim at the neck and hem, ruching at the bust and back, a keyhole and tie closure at the center of the bust, and spaghetti straps. Ella Moss usually has such fun colors, so it's nice to see something different from this designer.
Plaid Elvas Lumberjack Shirt by Ever
If you were a fan of grunge in the 90s, you probably still have a lot of plaid that you don't reveal to many people. Well, allow that hidden side of you to escape with the Plaid Elvas Lumberjack Shirt by Ever. This plaid flannel shirt has a fold-over collar, six buttons at the front, flap pockets at the bust, two inch slits at the sides, ruching at the back, long sleeves, and banding, pleating and a button at the cuffs. We haven't seen a fun black and white (or cream in this case) top for a while, so of course we're excited to show you the Adriana Top by Rachel Pally. This halter has gathered detail at the center neck and an inverted pleat at the bust. The darting print is fun and will certainly help you stand out in a crowd.
Jarian Blouse by Joie
Worried about those few pounds you're sure to gain this holiday season? The Jarian Blouse by Joie allows you to hide it while still looking chic. This blouse has a loose fit with crochet detail at the bib and near the bottom hem and five shell-like buttons at the neck. Strange Cargo is a Chicago t-shirt company that allows you to choose the type of shirt you put an image on. They have tons and tons of different designs to choose from. Once you decide on one, you pick the type of shirt, the color, and the size. It's great if you're looking for a baseball tee or would prefer a tank top as most t-shirt companies don't give you much variety in the actual shirt.

Belted Tank by Larsen Gray
The Belted Tank by Larsen Gray is a simple tank made quite elegant. It has a scoop neck and 3/4 inch straps which are pretty ordinary. But there's also a tie at the hem with beaded fringe, and this addition makes it something you can wear at so many places. You can dress it up with heels or keep it casual with jeans. It's made of 100% sustainable silk.
One Shoulder Top by Cleo Brands
One shouldered tops often look uneven to the Shirt Snob, but that isn't a problem with the One Shoulder Top by Cleo Brands
as it does actually cover both shoulders. It's like a one shoulder top with the addition of another strap. There is a V-neck and gathering on one shoulder, where the other shoulder strap attaches, and at the left seam. It's fitted and slinky and great for creating curves. This blouse is available in burgundy and navy.
Tula Top by Tart
We love how sexy and comfortable the Tula Top by Tart looks. It has braided banding at the scoop neck that continues on to the straps. They in turn form a V at the back. There is ruching at the bust, a keyhole at the back, and large banding and ruching at the bottom hem. It's available in two colors, petunia and black.

We love how the print banding at the edges contrasts with the print throughout the body. Who would have thought these two prints would work so well together? This wrap top also has a patch pocket at the bust, a tie at the waist, a button at the cuffs and elbow-length sleeves. It's 100% silk.
Dusty Dip Dye Thermal Hoodie by Splendid
Looking for a casual top to hang around in that isn't boring? The Dusty Dip Dye Thermal Hoodie by Splendid is perfect for you! This thermal pull-over hoodie is dip-dyed three colors. There is a pouch pocket at the front, banding at the scoop neck, hood, hem, and cuffs, and long sleeves. It comes in two colors, blue lagoon and desert sand.
Bamboo Slub Tank by Splendid
The print on the Bamboo Slub Tank by Splendid makes it look a little worn, so the girliness ruffle trim at the scoop neck and arm openings is an interesting contrast. There's also ruching at the bust and racer back and two inch straps. It's available in black and blurple (a word we love).

No one does bohemian like Free People. The Mama Gianna Princess Tank is adorable with ribbon banding and lace trim at the square neck, smocked elastic banding at the back, drawstring tie at the bottom hem, and contrast lace trim with scalloped edges at the three inch straps. It is sheer, so you can wear it with your most comfortable camisoles from last summer.

The Bustier Top by ADAM looks like a lot of fun to wear, and it'd be perfect for your warm weather vacations this winter. The Shirt Snob has really been into stars recently, so we adore this next top, the Celestine Tank Top by Ella Moss. There is layered flounce at the top hem, balloon edge at the bottom hem, 1/2 inch gathered elastic straps, and a lining. The shell is 100% silk and has stars throughout. It is available in two colors: amour and vanilla.
Printed Bias Tank by Organic
The Printed Bias Tank by Organic is a pretty basic tank top with a V-neck, unfinished bottom hem, and adjustable spaghetti straps. But the wrinkled print is quite unusual, and really we can't make much of what it is. You definitely will not find anyone else looking just like you when you go out in it though! It's also made from 100% cupro, a biodegradable cotton fiber.

We don't usually like such details, finding them garish, but in this case they only add to the top instead of taking away from it. There's also ruching at the bust, a single button and keyhole at the back, and a hidden side zipper. It is 100% silk and also lined at the bodice.
Cap Sleeve Top by C&C California
We found a similar one to this top last week, also by C&C California, but this one is a little more subtle. The Cap Sleeve Top has a large keyhole and a tie at the back. There's also satin banding at the scoop neck and bottom hem and ruching at the bust and shoulders. It is available in two colors: prince and black.
