We've written about many "date tops" by Juicy Couture this summer, but here's one more that we adore. The Ruffle Placket Date Top is black and white polka dots, which are quite popular right now, and it has ruffles down the front and at the neck and straps, buttons down the front, a flounced hem, and a bow tie at the waist. It's definitely a cute one for a date with your man!

Our favorite thing about the Puff Sleeve Top by Rebecca Taylor is that it has a camisole lining. So many sheer tops do not, so you have to think ahead a little extra when you want to wear them. We have enough to think about, so we like that this feature is there so we can just throw it on when we want to wear it. This blouse has a scoop neck, rhinestone appliqué and ruching at the bust, a single button and keyhole at the back, tie closure that is so cute and ruching at the cuffs, and elbow length sleeves.

Petal Camisole and Petal Cardigan by Rebecca Taylor
There are two cute tops here that are similar enough that we decided to put them together in one post. First up is th Petal Camisole by Rebecca Taylor. It has floral appliqué at the bust, ribbed banding and ruching at the waist, ribbed banding at the edges, and adjustable satin straps. It's made from a silk, cashmere, and wool mixture.
Then we have the Petal Cardigan, also by Rebecca Taylor. This sweater has ribbed banding at the waist and edges, floral appliqué at the V-neck, nine buttons down the front, and long sleeves. You could wear this cardigan with the cami above or with anything from a cute t-shirt to your favorite dress.

The Susie Top by C&C California is one of those tops that will soon be the favorite in your wardrobe. It has banding and ruching at the square neck, gathered elastic banding at the shoulders and back, and banding and ruching at the cuffs of the short puff sleeves. The best part is that you can wear it off the shoulder too! It's available in both treehouse and amethyst.

Both the white and blue prints of the Star Floral Tank by Free People are so pretty and girly that we can't help but love them. This tank has a tie and embroidery at the bust, solid ribbed banding at the scoop neck and racer back, ruching at the back, and one inch straps.

The Smocked Elbow Sleeve Pullover by Juicy Couture is a great sweater for the fall. It has a tie at the scoop neck, smocked elastic banding at the shoulders and waist, ribbed banding at the edges, and short sleeves. The tie is really what does it for us, taking a regular sweater and making it just a little more special.

The Piper Top in Tan by Woo
looks like an extremely comfortable top. It has crisscross straps at the back, slight ruching at the neck, and a a front neck line that has a small section that is separated from the rest of the shirt by a brown cord. We think the floral print is pretty and simple, fitting for this breezy cami.

New Tees 7.24.08
This is a post we meant to have up on Monday, but we got busy and it didn't happen. There are a lot of new tee designs out, but we actually don't like too many of them. Here's a few of the good ones:

We love the retro vibe of the Super Fine Pique Tunic by Marc by Marc Jacobs. Tees by Ash Francomb
The tees made by Ash Francomb have been sold by many great stores and worn by many celebrities for a while now, but they've finally opened up their own online store. Now everyone can buy these designs directly from the designer! They are modern vintage tees that have a focus on nature, surf, and travel. There are some message tees in there as well. They are a little more expensive than what you'll find from other tee companies, but they are still quite affordable. Their designs are available in long and short sleeves and in more than one color, so you get a bunch of variety. There are a ton of designs and we have too many favorites to list, but a sample include Aloha!, Sunrise Surfing, and Nature Rocks!
