We've written about many "date tops" by Juicy Couture this summer, but here's one more that we adore. It's definitely a cute one for a date with your man!

Our favorite thing about the Puff Sleeve Top by Rebecca Taylor is that it has a camisole lining. So many sheer tops do not, so you have to think ahead a little extra when you want to wear them. We have enough to think about, so we like that this feature is there so we can just throw it on when we want to wear it. This blouse has a scoop neck, rhinestone appliqué and ruching at the bust, a single button and keyhole at the back, tie closure that is so cute and ruching at the cuffs, and elbow length sleeves.

There are two cute tops here that are similar enough that we decided to put them together in one post. First up is th Petal Camisole by Rebecca Taylor. It has floral appliqué at the bust, ribbed banding and ruching at the waist, ribbed banding at the edges, and adjustable satin straps. It's made from a silk, cashmere, and wool mixture.
Then we have the Petal Cardigan, also by Rebecca Taylor. This sweater has ribbed banding at the waist and edges, floral appliqué at the V-neck, nine buttons down the front, and long sleeves. You could wear this cardigan with the cami above or with anything from a cute t-shirt to your favorite dress.

The Susie Top by C&C California is one of those tops that will soon be the favorite in your wardrobe. It has banding and ruching at the square neck, gathered elastic banding at the shoulders and back, and banding and ruching at the cuffs of the short puff sleeves. The tie is really what does it for us, taking a regular sweater and making it just a little more special.

The Piper Top in Tan by Woo
looks like an extremely comfortable top. It has crisscross straps at the back, slight ruching at the neck, and a a front neck line that has a small section that is separated from the rest of the shirt by a brown cord. We think the floral print is pretty and simple, fitting for this breezy cami.

New Tees 7.24.08
This is a post we meant to have up on Monday, but we got busy and it didn't happen. There are a lot of new tee designs out, but we actually don't like too many of them. Here's a few of the good ones:

We love the retro vibe of the Super Fine Pique Tunic by Marc by Marc Jacobs. This top has 14 buttons at the bust, a fold-over collar at the high neck which gives it a conservative feel, ruching at the shoulders and waist, and a single button and ruching at the cuffs of the short sleeves. We love the poppy color too (which happens to look much darker when you click on the link), it's great for fall and back to school!

Tees by Ash Francomb
The tees made by Ash Francomb have been sold by many great stores and worn by many celebrities for a while now, but they've finally opened up their own online store. Now everyone can buy these designs directly from the designer! They are modern vintage tees that have a focus on nature, surf, and travel. There are some message tees in there as well. They are a little more expensive than what you'll find from other tee companies, but they are still quite affordable. Their designs are available in long and short sleeves and in more than one color, so you get a bunch of variety. There are a ton of designs and we have too many favorites to list, but a sample include Aloha!, Sunrise Surfing, and Nature Rocks!

It's hard to see the details for the Chelsie Ruffle Top by Joie in this picture, so you may want to check out the other color it's available in, steel grey. Ahpeele is a shop at Etsy that sells lots of clothing for both men and women. We were going to show you this next top in a different color last week, but it sold out almost immediately. So jump on it now in these new colors if you like it because it may not last until tomorrow! In a lighter color, it reminded us of a ballerina, but in the darker colors (black and midnight), it's much sexier.

Common Threadz
Common Threadz is a t-shirt company with a mission. They will donate a school uniform to a child in need for every garment they sell. This may not seem like an important cause off the bat, but as the founder and executive director Zac Folk states:
For millions of disadvantaged children in developing nations, clothing is something that can either prevent them from an education or provide them with a huge opportunity to change their lives. Through our own line of socially-conscious apparel, CommonThreadz has created a vehicle to help sustain our charities' mission while making what you wear an expression of what matters to you as well as a way to help someone who needs a hand up, not a hand out.
Common Threadz also works with local seamstresses in these nations, so they are also helping with employment issues too. They sell tees for both men and women as well as children's apparel. The Cap Sleeve Blouse by Helmut Lang is an interesting blouse because you can wear the funnel collar either up or down. There's also cap sleeves and seven buttons down the front. If you need a white button down top, this is definitely a good one to consider!
