Accessory Friday - Carley Rose Jewelry
We haven't had our Accessory Friday column for a couple weeks now, but we're back with it this week. And we really like what we've found. Carley Rose Jewelry is an Etsy store that uses many different materials and gemstones. Their prices are reasonable, and they have a lot of cute things. New Tees at Threadless
It's Monday again, which means more Threadless designs. This week, we like two new ones (Merge and Birds of a Feather) and two reprints (Partly Hungry Skies and A Voyage of Discovery). There's also a new pricing scale starting. The tees won't all be the same price, the Select tees won't necessarily be so expensive, and mens and womens tees are the same price for the same design.
Gardenia Top by Robert Rodriguez
Here's a stand out top that is in muted colors for a nice change. The Gardenia Top by Robert Rodriguez has rosette detail at the bust, a V-neck, hook and eye closure at the back, a split back, and no sleeves. It's also 100% silk. It's very modern and unusual without trying too hard, which is what makes us so fond of it.
Man Hunter Top by Nanette Lepore
Here's a stunning top! The Man Hunter Top by Nanette Lepore has knot detail at the bust, pleating at the front, ruching and a hidden zipper at the back, a lining, boning at the bodice, and detachable straps. We love how the knot looks at the front, it's not totally obvious but really compliments the print well.

Embroidered Mexican Top by Min Young Lee
The Embroidered Mexican Top by Min Young Lee has floral embroidery at the lined yoke, lace banding at the crew neck, two buttons at the front, ruching at the bust and back, smocked elastic banding at the cuffs, ruching at the 3/4 length sleeves, and is semi-sheer. It certainly sounds busy, but it actually doesn't seem like too complex of a blouse when you look at it. What we especially love about it is how the embroidery is the same color as the rest of the top. If it was any other color, it could boarder on being costumey. But how it is works just perfectly and keeps it from being over the top.

We showed you a Rachel Pally top yesterday. Let's do another! The Twist Shoulder Top by Rachel Pally is an interesting one-shoulder blouse with ruching at the bodice and empire waist, a twisted strap over the left shoulder, and an unfinished edge at the bottom hem. Sometimes front ruffles annoy the Shirt Snob just like neck ties can. But we feel so differently about the Cascade Top by Robert Rodriguez; we just adore this top! Made of 100% silk, there is ruffle detail down the front, horizontal pleating throughout, four spaghetti straps that form a V at the front, two of which tie behind the neck, an asymmetrical bottom hem, back zipper, and lining. It's classy, quite unique, and looks like a lot of fun to wear. It's available in marble and black.

We know that everyone's moving away from sweaters as the weather starts to warm up, but this one is too great to pass up! It's a busy week for Catherine Malandrino! This is the fourth top of hers that we're covering. They've all come out at once, and it's hard to choose just a couple to show since we love them all so much! The Striped Cami Top is a striped knit top with solid banding at the bottom hem and V-neck. There's also pleating and solid ribbed banding at the empire waist, a ribbed panel at the back, and one inch straps. We think it's a flattering tank, and we love the colors too!

When we first saw the Cielo Camisole by Catherine Malandrino, it took our breath away. This silk top has a pleated overlay at the body, shirred bodice, spaghetti straps, a hidden back zipper, and is lined. We love the colors and how well they go together. Yet another favorite from Catherine Malandrino!

The Print Scrunchie Top by Black Halo has a black scrunchie that pulls all the fabric towards it at the empire waist, producing ruching around it. There's also a crossover V-neck and scrunchie straps that come together in a V at the back. We love the black and white floral print too.
Gathered Ring Top by Catherine Malandrino
We love how this next top is sexy but still classy. The Gathered Ring Top by Catherine Malandrino is crocheted from alpaca and semi-sheer with ring detail at the bust that has a peek-a-boo hole. There's also ruching at the V-neck, rolled edges at the cuffs, short sleeves, and a lined bust.

Sweetees is a designer that we really should showcase more on Shirt Snob as we really like their stuff. The Blanco Metallic Halter

If you liked the straps on the Susana Monaco halter we showed you earlier this week, you should see the Cheo Halter Tunic by Susana Monaco. Then over at Lucky Threadz, there's a Matt Damon tee. We try to keep this site clean, so go check it the link if you are interested or don't know what we're referring to. We think it's pretty funny as we loved the video!
Kailani Top by Diane von Furstenberg
The Kailani Top by Diane von Furstenberg is similar to yesterday's Tura Top with the strap detail at the back. This blouse has a V-back though. There's also contrasting white banding throughout, a V-neck, short sleeves, and it's 100% silk.
Chiffon Blouse with Bow by Alexander Wang
While we love how the Chiffon Blouse with Bow by Alexander Wang looks, we're having a hard time figuring it out. Black can be hard to make out in a picture. This top is supposedly strapless, so we're not sure how the shoulder straps (or whatever they are) come in to play. We think they are attached at the back, and you can do whatever you want with them, include drape them over your shoulders to the front like in the picture. This blouse also has three hook and eye closures in the back, has two layers, is semi-sheer, and has polka dot underwire lining at the bodice. It's also 100% silk.

The straps wrap around the neck, and there's a high back that comes right up to the neck too, creating a racer back. The empire waist also has ruching. We've been busy lately and haven't been able to update on the new designs that have come out in the last few days. So we're once again putting them all into one post. First up is Threadless. is a pretty typical blouse coming from them. We really like the green color (it's also available in black) as well as how simple it is. It's flirty and would look great with skinny jeans.

There's a very unique embroidery in the body of the top, and much of it is gold which leads to a very interesting look. Accessory Friday - Carolina Barbieri
We recently discovered Carolina Barbieri at Twist, and we are in heaven! Her jewelry is stunning and gorgeous, and we want everything we see. It's a bit pricy, so we won't be buying up each and every piece any time soon. But if you want to treat yourself, you should really check them out. Let's Be Awesome
Let's Be Awesome is a relatively new t-shirt company that was started by the same people who run Fooey, a popular children's clothing online store. We are quite happy that they've started tees for adults too as their designs are great. Their goal is to design shirts that the owner would want to wear for 20 years, which we like a lot. It's nice to have items in your closet that you can always turn to without worrying if they are still in style. Some of the Shirt Snob's favorites include Heartbreaker, Seagull, and the Heat is On. We wish they had a few more designs available to women, but as they are new, we're sure it'll happen in time.
