Shooting Star Burnout Hoodie by Free People

We think the Shooting Star Burnout Hoodie by Free People is the cutest hoodie we've seen in a while. It has a pattern of moons and stars, a hood with elastic banding, three buttons at the V-neck, and raw stitching throughout. It's available in berry, sapphire, and olive. The Shirt Snob is probably a little too old to wear something like this, but we're sure plenty of our readers could get away with it!

Kanika Top by Velvet

Here's a pretty simple blouse that would be a great addition to anyone's wardrobe. The Kanika Top by Velvet is a semi-sheer top with a deep V-neck, wrap detail at the front, unfinished edges, and long sleeves. It'd be great with a pair of jeans or a cute skirt depending on how dressy you'd like to be.

Tie Front Shirt by Tucker

We feel silly about this, but here is yet another to with a tie at the neck that we don't hate! Maybe this isn't a feature that we can't stand, we just only like it on particular tops and have seen it misused often. The Tie Front Shirt by Tucker is a 100% silk blouse that is semi-sheer, has a scoop neck, banding at the cuffs, short sleeves, and the neck tie. We think it works here because the top is so simple besides the tie, so the blouse isn't too busy. But no matter why it works, what matters is that it does and we like it!

Fat Rabbit Farm has a few new designs out for their Fall/Winter collection. The Shirt Snob really likes the Elly and Phant with Itty Zip Up Top and the Cherry Blossom Hoodie the best.

Here is another great fall color. The Cashmere Sculpted Sweater by Chaiken is a cashmere sweater with diagonal rolls and gathering at the V-neck to the right hip, long sleeves, and rolled hems. And the burgundy color is perfect for this time of year.

Anne Maa Designs has a new collection out in time for the holidays. It's mostly made up of rough stones set in hand sculpted sterling settings, and all the pieces are very unique and quite stunning. Bib Blouse by Chrissa

It took us a few minutes to figure out why we like the Bib Blouse by Chrissa. After all, it's a pretty simple looking top. But then we realized that simplicity is not a bad thing. This blouse has a bib neckline with ruffle trim and pleating and a slight metallic sheen, so it's not totally boring like a plain tee. And we feel it's good to have some more simple tops in your wardrobe. This is a great one, and we think it's a great look with a cute pair of jeans.

Breaker Tank by VPL

The Breaker Tank by VPL is pretty similar to the Banner Tank that we showed you last month, but we think both are hot tanks that our readers would love, so why not show you this one too? This one has contrast elastic banding at the contrast bodice, ruching at the empire waist, adjustable straps, and a logo bar at the back. Besides eggplant, it's available in military green, grenadine, and beige.

If you want something sexy that will cover up your stomach a bit, the Twill Becky Top by Foley + Corinna is a possibility. Way back in April 2006 our boss took over the blog for a few days while the Shirt Snob recovered from childbirth, and much was written about Gama Go. For some reason, the Shirt Snob hasn't written about them since. Well, we are ready to change that now that we discovered the Birdflower Tee. We think it's such a cute design, so happy! We aren't sure whose tee it's printed on, but it's silk screened and is available on two colors: asphalt and white.

We haven't seen anything like the floral print on the Guilded Tulip Tunic Shell by Rebecca Taylor before, but we love it! This blouse has twisted banding at the scoop neck, a crossover pleat at the front, tie at the waist, asymmetrical bottom hem, cap sleeves, and two buttons and a keyhole at the back. It's a little busy but would look great with a simple bottom.

There is nothing more feminine and romantic than lace! If you are looking for a fun casual top, we like the Lurex Stripe Tunic by Splendid. This shirt has metallic stripes throughout which make it a little less ordinary than other similar tops. Foil Jersey Square Neck Top by Splendid

From the picture this top looks pretty ordinary. What you can't see on the Foil Jersey Square Neck Top by Splendid is that it has a metallic thread throughout. There's also elastic banding at the shoulders, ruching and banding at the square neck, short sleeves, and it's semi-sheer. Also available in black which looks much more metallic. Breast Cancer Tee at Privacy Wear

We are sure you've seen plenty of breast cancer awareness products all over the web this month, but we've found some tees we haven't seen before that we really like. The United We Cure Tee at Privacy Wear is a cute design. The website says absolutely nothing about the tee besides for sizing, so we have no idea what it's printed on, how it's printed, etc. But if you like the design, give it a try! It's also available in pink and olive.

New Tees at Threadless

We said that we'd still write about Threadless even after our not so stellar review because we know that so many of our readers love them, and we are quite fond of many of their designs. More designs came out today, and our top picks are Fall_ing, The Good Guys Don't Glow at Midnight, and the reprint Star Men in Moon's Milk.

Design By Humans

Design by Humans is a tee company that sells a new shirt every day. It's a contest where you can win to be the shirt of the day, but also the shirt of the week or month too. A lot of their designs are hit or miss to the Shirt Snob, and a lot aren't available in women's sizes, but there are some good finds there too. You can also search just for women's tees. A couple of recent ones that we've liked include Attraction and Bad Pet.

Belinda Top by Joie

The Belinda Top by Joie isn't super special, but we really like the thick brocade banding at the scoop neck. There's also a brocade panel at the racer back as well as pleating at the front and back.

Short Kimono Sweater by Lily McNeal

We're big fans of Lily McNeal sweaters here at Shirt Snob, so we're happy to have discovered a new one. The Short Kimono Sweater has ribbed detail down the front and sleeves, a tie at the waist, and kimono sleeves. It's also made of camel hair, which is a little more exotic than what most of our sweaters are made out of. It looks cozy and a great addition to your fall wardrobe.
