Shooting Star Burnout Hoodie by Free People
We think the Shooting Star Burnout Hoodie by Free People is the cutest hoodie we've seen in a while. It has a pattern of moons and stars, a hood with elastic banding, three buttons at the V-neck, and raw stitching throughout. It's available in berry, sapphire, and olive. The Shirt Snob is probably a little too old to wear something like this, but we're sure plenty of our readers could get away with it!

Tie Front Shirt by Tucker
We feel silly about this, but here is yet another to with a tie at the neck that we don't hate! Maybe this isn't a feature that we can't stand, we just only like it on particular tops and have seen it misused often. The Tie Front Shirt by Tucker is a 100% silk blouse that is semi-sheer, has a scoop neck, banding at the cuffs, short sleeves, and the neck tie. We think it works here because the top is so simple besides the tie, so the blouse isn't too busy. But no matter why it works, what matters is that it does and we like it!

The new Threadless designs are out! We like BEarth, Children Under the Bed, Delivery, and the reprint Ambition Killed the Cat. They also have this new feature called Thriftee, and here's how it works. They will have one tee up on their site for only $10, but it's only in one size and design. It took us a few minutes to figure out why we like the Bib Blouse by Chrissa
. After all, it's a pretty simple looking top. But then we realized that simplicity is not a bad thing. This blouse has a bib neckline with ruffle trim and pleating and a slight metallic sheen, so it's not totally boring like a plain tee. And we feel it's good to have some more simple tops in your wardrobe. This is a great one, and we think it's a great look with a cute pair of jeans.

Birdflower Tee at Gama Go
Way back in April 2006 our boss took over the blog for a few days while the Shirt Snob recovered from childbirth, and much was written about Gama Go. For some reason, the Shirt Snob hasn't written about them since. Well, we are ready to change that now that we discovered the Birdflower Tee. We think it's such a cute design, so happy! We aren't sure whose tee it's printed on, but it's silk screened and is available on two colors: asphalt and white.

We haven't seen anything like the floral print on the Guilded Tulip Tunic Shell by Rebecca Taylor before, but we love it! It's a little busy but would look great with a simple bottom.

Design by Humans is a tee company that sells a new shirt every day. It's a contest where you can win to be the shirt of the day, but also the shirt of the week or month too. A lot of their designs are hit or miss to the Shirt Snob, and a lot aren't available in women's sizes, but there are some good finds there too. You can also search just for women's tees. The Elmo Top by Dallin Chase is not one of our favorites because of the tie at the neck, but besides that we find it to be quite pretty. And we are sure some of our readers wouldn't mind the tie. This top has a chiffon drawstring and tie as well as ruching at the scoop neck, and it is lined. We like how the ruching is caused by the drawstring as it's much more natural than many other ruched tops. It's too bad that it's overpowered by the tie.

It's pretty surprising to us that it's been two years that we've had this blog, and we have yet to review Threadless! We've always loved their designs, but we discovered them when we became pregnant. Since then they've changed from American Apparel to their own tees, so we were unable to review what we already owned. Tevya Top by Theory
What first drew us to the Tavya Top by Theory was the amber color, great for fall. But it's also a sexy top too, and you don't find too many sexy sweaters out there! Made of mostly merino wool, it has pleating at the scoop neck and back, ribbed banding at the edges, ribbed stripes throughout, and 3/4 length sleeves.
Bell Sleeve Crop Sweater by Jamison
The Shirt Snob has a love/hate relationship with ties at the front of the neck. We own a ton, but at the same time we just aren't sure if we like such a detail. But there are a few cute tops out there currently with such a tie, especially the Bell Sleeve Crop Sweater by Jamison
. We love the sweater, so we'll let you decide if you like the tie or not! Made from a mixture of merino wool, cashmere, and nylon, the top also has a hook and eye closure at the front, short bell sleeves, ribbing at the neck, sleeves, and bottom hem.
Black Forest
Black Forest is a tee company that we've just learned about recently that has designs related to that particular area of Germany. Or maybe it just is related to Oktoberfest. Either way, they are cool. From what we can tell, they have only three women's designs at the moment.. We especially like the Beer Steins tee (which we can't link to directly because of flash).

New Tees at Threadless
New designs are out at Threadless. Our favorites include Runnin' Rhino, Piggy Bank Heist, and Away From Home. There are new kid's tees as well.
Progresswear
Progresswear is "political wear designed to be noticed" according to their website. From what we can tell, it's more left wing than right. However, the Shirt Snob is not the most political person, so who knows. But we are definitely believers in evolution being an anthropology major in college, so while we may not wear our politics on our fronts, we can appreciate those tees. Progresswear also sells tees for men and children (which are less political).
Cassandra Cardigan by C&C California
Here is yet another perfect fall sweater! The Cassandra Cardigan by C&C California is a cotton and cashmere blend with five buttons down the front, slant pockets at the front, banding at the crew neck, pleating at the bust, 3/4 length sleeves, and ribbed banding at the bottom hem and cuffs. It's available in charcoal, heather grey, and ivory.
Sydonia Leather Belted Tank by Sky
We know that Sky can look a little hoochie on some people, but if you can pull it off in a sophisticated way (or at least wear it only when you're going out at night), we think they are great additions to your wardrobes. The Sydonia Leather Belted Tank by Sky is a great one because it has the neatest black and white print that looks like branches and leaves. There's also twisted straps, a deep V-neck, and leather woven belt banding below the bust.
