The Emily Top by Velvet is a pretty simple blouse, but we love the crossover bust. There's also shirring at the bust, line detail down the front, a V-neck, and 3/4 length sleeves. It's available in three colors: fire engine, moody, and loubellia.
September 29, 2007
We aren't sure how we feel about the front tie on this next top, the Marled Jersey Top by Marc by Marc Jacobs, but we do love the rest of it! This shirt has sheer, mesh stripes throughout, quilted banding at the neck, long sleeves, and the mesh tie at the neck. Wear it with one of your summer tanks or camisoles for a cute look.
September 28, 2007
The Shirt Snob looked back and we haven't done jewelry for Accessory Friday in a month! Good thing since we just discovered Lazul Jewelry and are really impressed with their organic line. We love the circles in all their pieces, such as the Abstract Gold Necklace, the Freeform Abstract Bracelet, and the Pebbles Gold Ring. There are other collections with great pieces too that you should check out as well.

Just like yesterday's Splendid top, the Very Light & Fashionable Puff Sleeve Tunic by Splendid is a nice alternative to your boring tee. This tunic has ribbed banding at the scoop neck, puff detail at the shoulders, long sleeves, and hangs to the bottom of the hips. It's available in black, espresso, iris, sage, white, and heather.
September 27, 2007
Here's a fun print for you all! The Vintage Vanessa Top by Zoa has a rounded neckline, banding under the bust, a square back, slightly puffed shoulders, and elastic banding at the cuffs. It's available in two colors: vintage wine and olive.
The Solid V Neck 3/4 Sleeve Top by T-Bags is quite a sexy top! It has a deep V-neck, elastic banding and ruching at the empire waist, 3/4 length dolman sleeves, and an unfinished edge on the bottom hem. And once again we're happy with the solid colors from T-Bags. This top is available in pine and slate.
The Shirt Snob is fond of the Very Light & Fashionable Top by Splendid because it's a great take on your typical solid tee. This blouse has ruching and elastic smocked banding at the wide, rounded neck, smocked banding at the cuffs, and long sleeves. And it's available in a bunch of great colors too: black, grey, iris, marigold, mushroom, navy, sage, white, and heather.
September 26, 2007
Even though it's still pretty warm where the Shirt Snob resides, we can't help but get excited for winter when we find something as cozy looking as the Boucle Wrap Hoodie by Free People. This cardigan wraps with an extra long tie and a hood. It's made out of a wool, angora, and acrylic mixture, and it's available in five colors: wine, teal, black, ivory, and mocha. It's also quite short, so it'd look great with your longer tops.
Here is a top that is cool and simple. The Tibet Top by LOVE YAYA is an oversized blouse with banding at the droopy scoop neck and cap sleeves. It's available in three colors: heather smoke, onyx, and thistle.
We think the 3/4 Sleeve Shirred Neck Top by Zoa is so great because it's simple and elegant but still quite pretty. This top has a shirred neckline with banding, 3/4 length sleeves with banding and gathering, and is available in three colors: black, earth brown, and ravishing red.
The Puff Sleeve Button Crew Top by Generra is a pretty formal looking blouse with its pintucking at the front. But when unbuttoning the six buttons at the bust, it looks a bit less dressy and will work for a lot of situations. This semi-sheer silk blouse also has ruched banding and balloon edges at the cuffs and tonal top stitching at the edges, and elbow length sleeves. It's available in pewter and plum.
September 25, 2007
There are two new designs at Busted Tees today. We really like Rock Paper Scissors more than most we've seen from them in a while!
There is also a new tee over at Go Ape Shirts that we think is pretty funny. Guitar Solo is great for Star Wars fans, but even though we aren't super fans of those movies we like it too!
Looking for a fun and casual top? The Fluttered Wings Tee by Free People is one we definitely like. This jersey knit top has a scoop neck, woven flutter sleeves, pintucking at the bust, buttons at the bust, and smocking at the back. It's available in three different colors combinations: wine/coral, black/cobalt, and grey heather/straw.
We've shown a few sweaters similar to the Pointelle Cable Knit Cardigan by Alice + Olivia, but we can't help but show one more. We just love the look of the oversized cream colored cardigans. This one has pointelle detail throughout, a shawl collar, ribbed banding at the edges, long sleeves, and a tie at the waist. It's also a wool and cashmere mix.
The Shirt Snob is on the lookout for a nice polo top, so we are super excited to find the Long Sleeve Polo by Charlotte Ronson. This top has six buttons down the bust, a crest patch at the front, a contrast fold-over collar, ribbed banding at the placket and cuffs, slits at the sides, and long sleeves. It's an interesting choice to put brown and grey together, but we think it works really well in this case!
The High Neck Tunic by Geren Ford is neat because it has two different looks to it. There is a folded collar that can also be unfolded for a high neck look instead depending on your mood. It's semi-sheer, has short sleeves, pleating at the front and at the V-neck, and subtle stripes throughout.
September 24, 2007
Another Monday, another group of new Threadless tees. We like two new ones (Life on Gi'raph Paper and Northern Ice Pilot) and two reprints (Haikues are Easy But... and Cyclope). We aren't loving any new tees and haven't in a while. Hopefully some great designs will come out soon.
We love the feminine look of the Homestead Mixed Print by Free People. This blouse has a front cummerbund, back smocking, sheer sleeves, eyelet embroidery, and a ruffle hem. It is available in six different prints and colors which are all so different that you'll be hard pressed not to find one that fits your personality.
Much of the time we aren't too fond of tops with some sheer parts. But in the case of the O'Keefe Blouse by Vena Cava we think it's tastefully done. Not overpowering or gaudy. This naturally wrinkly top has a scoop neck and back, horizontal pintucking throughout, metallic detail throughout, frayed edges at the cuffs, sheer short sleeves, a hidden side zipper, and a silk lining.
You would need a lot of confidence to wear the Gridlock Cami by VPL. It's sexy and daring, and we love it! This sheer tank has burnout plaid and seam detail throughout, a logo bar at the back, pointelle banding at the bottom hem, adjustable straps and a double-layered bodice. And unlike most tops that have recently come out, it's only 20 inches long. So if you want something on the shorter side, this might be an option.
September 23, 2007
Snorg Tees has new designs out this week. There's yet another referencing the Tasing incident, My Bro Got Tased. There's also With a Shirt Like This and Chillin Out from last week.
The Cotton Factory also has new designs. We really like I am Error and I Saved Latin (a Rushmore reference). And guess what else they have? Yes, a reference to the tasing incident: Don't Taze Me Bro!
Finally, there's new stuff over at Owl Movement. It's a little busy and pastel for the Shirt Snob, but go check it out if that sounds good to you.
September 22, 2007
The Stripe V Neck Top by Ella Moss is a fun and flirty top that helps make the wearer look like a blast to hang out with! This top has horizontal stripes throughout, a V-neck, ruching at the shoulders, banding at the waist in vertical stripes, and short sleeves. Wear this blouse with a cute pair of jeans for a simple, no think cute outfit.
September 21, 2007
There are a lot of new tees out, so we're once again putting them into one post. First up is Vintage Vantage. They have 16 new designs, and our top picks are Army Men and Reverse Psychology. Those are our names for the tees as they don't name them at Vintage Vantage. Also, use the coupon code "spank" to get 31% off your order for the next few days.
Fabric 8 also has new tops out. We really like the Butterfly Tie Top, the Dolores V Neck, and the Tokyo Thermal.
Busted Tees has new tees out too. There's Capitalist Pig, Don't Tase Me Bro (which is shipping October 1), and Air Guitar Hero (which isn't really our taste but pretty funny none the less).
This week for Accessory Friday, we chose Purple Flower Designs because they are just so darn cheerful. How could you be in a bad mood if you're carrying a bag around such as the Freedom Bag in Daisy in the Grass or the Handbag in Poppy on a Sunny Day? Others we like include Book Bag in Blossoms and Branches and Mini Wallet in Nik I Bought New Fabric.
Puff sleeves like the ones on the Patricia Gauzy Whisper Top by Velvet are not for everyone (the Shirt Snob included unfortunately). But it's a fun look if you can pull it off. This blouse has banding at the scoop neck, ruching at the cuffs, and an unfinished rolled bottom hem as well as those 3/4 length puff sleeves. It also is semi-sheer and is available in five colors: black, nile, orchid, petal, and white.
We've already shown you one top this week with a partially open back. The Olivia Top by Velvet also has one, with a ribbon tie behind the neck. There's also ribbed banding at the scoop neck and back, long sleeves, and unfinished edges at the bottom hem and cuffs. It's also available in a bunch of colors: black, dill, harbor, storm, white, and terracotta.
September 20, 2007
The Shirt Snob finds the black floral embroidery on the Isadora Cami by Yoana Baraschi to be quite beautiful. This camisole also has pleated detail at the top, a black tie at the waist, thick black straps, elastic banding at the back, ruffle detail at the neck, and is 100% silk.
Yet another print that is hard to see here. The V Neck Short Sleeve Top by IRO has a polka dot print throughout. This silk blouse also has a V-neck, draped satin sash detail at the front, satin banding at the collar, bottom hem, and short sleeves, and a hidden zipper at the back.
The Back Keyhole Sweater by Laila Azhar is neat because it's keyhole is different than other similar tops out there. With this top, the hole is actually quite large with a band detail behind the neck. The sweater, made from a cashmere and silk mix, also has a draped overlay at the front, ribbed banding at the scoop neck, short sleeves, and is semi-sheer. It's available in cobalt blue and cream.
September 19, 2007
The Shirt Snob is sure many of you felt like a trainwreck at some point. If you want to publicize it, Kovet Kouture just came out with the Trainwreck Tee. It's available in three colors (burnout white, tonal stripes, and PE grey) and is limited edition.
We think the Heather Tencel Deep V Neck Top by Max Studio looks like such a classy blouse. It has piping at the V-neck, flared sleeves, and besides that is pretty simple. It'd be a good top to wear the first time you meet your boyfriend's parents or to an interview as it's pretty, stylish, and definitely not over the top.
We told you about the Bishop Sleeve Top by Rachel Pally last month, and now it's also available in a cute print. The Print Bishop Sleeve Wrap Top has a tie at the waist, 3/4 length sleeves, and ribbed banding at the edges. We really like the print, as the stripes are actually made up of dots which you can see when you take a closer look.
The Shirt Snob grew up seeing a lot of Lacoste tops, so it is a brand we have always felt very comfortable with. We can't help but love their preppy looking polos and sweaters. Here are two Lacoste tops that we like right now. First up is the Long Sleeve V-Neck Sweater. It has white and blue striped banding at the cuffs and V-neck, banding at the bottom hem, and the signature logo on the left chest.
Then there's the 3/4 Sleeve Stripe Polo. This polo is different from the others that have been popular in the last few years because of the contrast collar and placket. This top also has 3/4 length sleeves and is available in black and white.
September 18, 2007
There are more new tees over at Threadless today. Teddy Band is sort of cute, and we are huge fans of the reprint Damn Scientists (anyone notice Rusty's roommate wearing it on Greek?), but the rest are not too spectacular.
We've recently discovered P is for Panda, and while they don't have a huge amount of women's tees, there are a few that we really like. Both Mark Penxa Cardinaland Death Panda are really neat designs. We're impressed with the company because they also give away a third of their profits to the charity of the artist's choice. So you're helping out when you buy from P is for Panda. Also check out their men's tees too.
If you want a bold print for the work place instead of for a night out, the Jill Wrap Top by Diane von Furstenberg might be a good option. This shirt has a tie at the waist, a fold over collar, banding at the split cuffs and 3/4 length sleeves. It's also 100% silk. We think this is a good one for work because of its toned down colors. It'd look great with a black suit.
The Cloudburst Jersey Top by Marc by Marc Jacobs has such a fun print that we just had to show to you. Although you can't tell from far away, the print is metallic and shimmery. This blouse also has a mock turtleneck, pleating at the neck and shoulders, and short kimono sleeves.
September 17, 2007
Now that it's getting cooler, the Shirt Snob is on the lookout for new hoodies. They are a staple of our casual wardrobe! The Stripe Ringer Hoodie by L.A.M.B. is definitely a cute one. It has contrast banding at the hood, front, and back, side pockets, a zipper down the front, long sleeves, and ribbed banding at the bottom hem and cuffs. It's going to sell out soon, so if you like this one, grab it now! Available in black/evergreen and sand.
If you are still on the lookout for sexy warm weather tops, we just found the Sunset Halter Top by ingwa; melero. There is leather and crochet cut out detail under the bust, leather banding around the waist, a tie behind the neck, and ruching at the bust. Also, use the coupon code "shirtsnob" to get 15% off this and all other non-sale items at Language.
Lately we've been a little tired with T-Bags' prints, so it's nice to find another one of their tops that isn't so busy. The Off the Shoulder Top is an off the shoulder blouse with ruching at the top hem, an unfinished and rounded bottom hem, 3/4 length sleeves, and a tie at the cuffs. If you prefer the prints, there's also the Printed Off Shoulder Top for you.
September 16, 2007
The Shirt Snob loves the colors this next top comes in. The Woven Combo Cap Sleeve Top by Generra, available in both plum and tea rose, has a square neck, seven buttons at the side, ruching at the bust and bottom hem, woven banding at the bodice and placket, and cap sleeves.
September 15, 2007
The Shirt Snob likes the Square Neck Short Sleeve Top by Vanessa Bruno Athe because of its unusual neck with its inverted pleating. There are also short puff sleeves, banding at the neck, and ruching at the bottom hem. It's available in amer and noir.
September 14, 2007
J Pat Purses is so wonderful because they have a bunch of beautiful fabrics that they use. They also make a bunch of smaller items, including wristlets, coin purses, and mini wallets. We love the iPod cases too. If you are in the market for some smaller bag accessories, this is a great place to start.
Here's a great Ella Moss top to take you into fall. The Cortina Cashmere Empire Top is a 100% cashmere sweater that is semi-sheer and has a scoop neck with banding, banding at the bottom hem and cuffs, an elastic at the empire waist, ruching at the front and cuffs, and long sleeves. It's available in army, cumin, espresso, and heather grey.
The Shirt Snob is rarely fond of a vest, but the Fair Isle Vest by Peace of Us is pretty, making us think of fall, and reminds us of so many other Scottish sweaters. This one has metallic stitching, a V-neck, no sleeves, knit banding at the arms and neck, and textured knit detail at the bottom. You can wear it alone or with a top underneath.
September 13, 2007
The Shirt Snob has a weakness for tweed, so of course we think the Bacall Jacket by Burning Torch is fantastic. It is made from a wool, mohair, and polyamide blend, has a silk lining, cropped bell sleeves, a wide collar, front pockets, and a large leather button below the collar. It's also made up of fall colors, so it's perfect for the cooling weather.
The Shirt Snob thinks that the Vermont Tank Tunic by Ella Moss would be the perfect addition to your work wardrobe this fall. It is made from a silk and cashmere mix, has a rolled bottom hem, ruching at the bust and back, banding at the arms and scoop neck, and no sleeves. It's available in black and wheat.
If you are looking for an extra long sweater this fall, the Kaileigh Long Cardigan by Joie is a great pick. It has six buttons down the front, cable knit yoke at the shoulders, pockets at the hips, ribbed banding at the edges, and a tie at the waist. It's also made from a combination of wool, cashmere, and yak. If you like the sweater but don't want something so long, there's also the This Magic Moment Cardigan, which is very similar but only hangs to the hips and is a darker color.
September 12, 2007
Don't forget that the Shop Bop Fall sale ends tonight at midnight. Use the coupon code "FALL2007" at check out to get $20 off orders of $100 or more, $50 off orders of $250 or more, and $125 off orders of $500 or more. If you still need some items for your Fall wardrobe, get over there today before this great deal ends!
There are new tees over at The Cotton Factory. We think the Flat Earth Society is pretty funny (especially because we know there are people out there who believe the Earth really is flat), and Busted isn't too bad either.
The Halter Tunic by Rebecca Taylor has gathering at the bust that is made to look like a bow. It's quite a simple detail, but we love how it's not over the top or obnoxious as many bows are. There's also ruching at the empire waist, thick straps, and it is semi-sheer.
We feel that we've been showing you a lot of tops with knot detailing the past few months, but so many great tops with this are coming out that we really like. We just can't help it! The Lenoa Gauzy Whisper Tank by Velvet is yet another. This one has the knot detail at the bust as well as twisted straps and an unfinished bottom hem. It's available in four colors: black, nile, white, and zino. If you like this tank, you may also like the Lucy Gauzy Whisper Top which has similar knot detailing but also long sleeves.
The Cami Blouse by Rory Beca is special because it has wrapped banding at the scoop neck, straps, and back. This is definitely a look we like, unique without being weird. There's also ruching at the bust and back, and it is 100% silk. Available in three colors: navy, plum and tomato.
September 11, 2007
Glarkware has some new tees out this week. Our absolute favorite is Ask Me About My Crippling Shyness. When we bought it last night, there were only three left in small, so get over there before it's too late if you also like this design. Other good ones are Whomever for Whatever and Transponder. There's also a new toddler line too.
The Cami by Mint Jodi Arnold is another versatile top that can be worn alone or under a cute cardigan. It has different colored panels at the front and bust, ruching at the empire waist, adjustable straps, a hidden side zipper, and is 100% silk. It's available in lapis and silver.
We are so fond of the Boat Neck 3/4 Sleeve Blouse by Miss Davenporte because it makes looking great so easy. This blouse is silk and has elastic banding at the wide neck and button detail at the 3/4 length split sleeves. Check out the close up pictures, it's not black and white like it looks from afar!
The Shirt Snob really wants a long cardigan this fall with a tie. Believe it or not, but we've never owned one before, and we plan to rectify that this winter. The Victoria Cardigan by Demylee is definitely one we are considering as it's elegant, simple, but still luxurious. Made of 100% cashmere, this sweater has a shawl collar, tie at the waist, long blouson sleeves, and ruching at the front. It's available in black, chocolate, and oatmeal as well as in oatmeal and black at Pink Mascara.
September 10, 2007
We are not too impressed with Threadless this week. The only tees we like are Infinity MPG and Nuts!, both of which are reprints. Hopefully next week will be better. In the meantime, we hope to get a Threadless review up this week too!
We haven't been posting sales lately as we try to figure out the best way to do so without clogging the blog up, but we couldn't skip this one as we know it's a favorite store for many of you. Shop Bop is having a fall sale now through Wednesday at midnight. Use the coupon code "FALL2007" at check out to get $20 off orders of $100 or more, $50 off orders of $250 or more, and $125 off orders of $500 or more. This is a deal too good to pass up with all the new tops they've added in the last few weeks!
The Tie Back Peplum Shirt by Sunner is so neat because of the piping detail throughout. It is red, and it contrasts quite interestingly to the stark black of the blouse. It's also 100% silk, has eight buttons down the front, a tie at the waist, an asymmetrical bottom hem, and a single button at the cuffs of the short sleeves. It's also available at Pink Mascara.
Here's a tube top that you can wear all fall! The Bell Top by YAYA AFLALO is a silk top with pleatiing at the bust and sides, smocked banding at the back, frayed edges at the top and bottom hems, and ruching at the empire waist and side pockets. It is lined in the bust and semi-sheer throughout the body.
September 9, 2007
The twisted banding on the U Neck Top by Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent takes this blouse from ordinary to extraordinary! It is 100% silk, has the twisted banding at the cuffs too, a scoop neck, short puff sleeves, and a surged bottom hem. It's available in cognac and grey.
September 8, 2007
Here's another great Ella Moss find. The Anastasia Top has ruffles at the neck, a single button closure at the neck and a tie, and 3/4 length sleeves. So many grey tops are boring and drap, but this one is much more interesting and fun to wear.
September 7, 2007
What makes the Silk Charmeuse Pleated Top at Max Studio so wonderful is that you can wear it with many different bottoms and either alone or with a cute jacket over it. Made of 100% silk, it has pleating on the front and at the flare cuffs, an empire waist with a belt with two closures, a scoop neck, texture throughout the bust, and a side zipper. It's quite flattering and would look great on most women.
The perfect casual tee for fall to us is the Striped Rugby Thermal Tee by Splendid. This top has a crew neck, four button detail at the front, solid banding at the neck and cuffs, stripes throughout, a surged bottom hem, and long sleeves. It looks comfortable and perfect for a relaxing day.
There are a few new Snorg tees that have been released. We really like I Don't Wanna Grow Up a bunch. They also have a McLovin tee too.
September 6, 2007
New tees at Busted Tees this week. The Shirt Snob likes Like Butter. Now seems like a good time to buy too. If you buy three shirts, you get free shipping, and all tees are $15.99 right now. We aren't sure how long either deal will last.
The Wrap Neck Blouse by Rag & Bone took our breath away with its delicate look. It's 100% silk, there's a wrap neck that ties on the side, has long sleeves with banding at the cuffs, and is semi-sheer. It seems quite feminine. But if you look closely, the pattern is lots of daggers, giving it a bit of an edge. Quite an interesting combination of innocence and edginess!
The Dirty Diamond Cami by LaROK is one of the more fun tanks we've seen in a while. Its straps have rhinestone and chain mail detail that makes this tank great. There's also a crossover V-neck, ruching at the bust and back, an empire waist, and side pockets. It's available in black, black olive, and graphite.
Now that the cold is about to hit some parts of the country, it's time to think about cashmere! The Shirt Snob loves this sweater, the Kimono Cardigan by C&C California. It has an asymmetrical bottom hem, long sleeves, large banding at the edges, and is 29 inches long. It's available in four colors: black, charcoal, heather grey, and ivory.
September 5, 2007
We tried hard to resist the bubble trend, but we can't help but think the Bubble Tank by Mason by Michelle Mason is cute. Sure, not everyone can wear it, but if you can pull it off, we think you'd love it. It is gathered at the neck and bottom, has spaghetti straps, and there's a tie at the back. It's available in teal and cream.
The Cashmere Jacket by Graham and Spencer would work as either a jacket or as a heavy sweater to wear inside. It is a chunky knit sweater with 3/4 length sleeves, a snap button closure, ribbed neck, and wave detail throughout.
Here is a very elegant sweater that would look good with almost any bottom. The Silk Tie Sweater by McQ - Alexander McQueen is made of wool and silk, has a silk tie at the rounded neck, ribbed banding at the bottom hem and cuffs, and long sleeves. It's available in black and army.
The Slub Shadow Stripe Tunic by Splendid is perfect if you want a casual top that has long sleeves but it's too heavy. This top is semi-sheer with a split V-neck, ruching at the bib, stripes throughout, and piping at the neck. It's available in blush, sage, and white.
September 4, 2007
Here's a unique blouse. The Georgette Gathered Top by Vera Wang has silk drapes made from ruching at the front and sides. There's a zipper down the back, no sleeves, a slight V-neck, and seam detail down the front too. We haven't seen many other tops like this out there right now, so you won't be a clone of everyone else when wearing this one!
The Tie Waist Cardigan by Free People is another great sweater to take you into fall. It's semi-sheer with buttons going down the front with banding, a tie at the waist, rounded neck, button detail on the back of the tie, and short sleeves. It's available in two colors, ivory and washed black.
Short sleeve slubby yarn sweater with button placket and tie waist.
Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent has come out with two tops with chains that we think are pretty cool. First up is the Chain Halter Tunic. This 100% silk halter top has a multi-strand chain at the bust with sheer mesh right above it, inverted pleating at the front, mesh straps that tie behind the neck, a lining, and elastic banding at the back. It's perfect for a night out.
Then there's the Chain Tunic if you want something a little more conservative and classy. The multi-strand chains are just below the crew neck, and there's ruching at the front, a keyhole and two buttons at the back, ruching at the cuffs, long sleeves, and ribbon ties behind the neck.
September 3, 2007
The Kimono Tunic by Mara Hoffman has such a pretty print and color combination that we couldn't pass up showing it to you. Made of 100% silk, it has a deep V-neck with a hook and eye closure, solid banding at the cuffs, and 3/4 length kimono sleeves. It's stunning, quite forgiving, and will definitely make heads turn!
Edited to add September 3:
This top is also available in another pretty print, grey little trees.
The Ballet Tee by Rachel Pally is simple, elegant, and quite feminine for a t-shirt. It has a scoop neck and back, puff sleeves, and elbow length sleeves. It's available in four colors: black, cream, golden, and midnight.
Edited to add September 3:
This top is now available in eight colors!
What makes the Print Strapless Bubble Top by Rachel Pally so special is definitely the print! It's quite pretty from far away, but when you see it close up, it's actually a rather intricate design. It has banding and pleating at both the top and bottom hems, and it's also available in a camisole as well as in different colors.
Edited to add on September 3:
Bumping up because now there's two new prints available!
The Threadless $10 sale continues until tomorrow morning, and they've released some new designs today regardless. Although the Shirt Snob has already placed two orders this week, we want to place another now! One of our all time favorites has been reprinted, Frida's Garden. Besides that one, we also like the reprint Take Me to Tokyo, Luckiest T-Shirt Ever and Ascending Descent.
The Shirt Snob has never been a huge fan of metallics, but we do like it on the Banner Tank by VPL. Besides the metallic bodice, there's contrast banding surrounding it, adjustable straps, ruching at the empire waist, and the VPL logo on a chain at the back.
September 2, 2007
We can't get over how feminine and beautiful the Belted Top by Rebecca Taylor is. This silk top is semi-sheer but lined, has layered ruffle trim at the collar, pleating at the front, a tie with stone detail at the waist, a button and keyhole at the back, and no sleeves. It's available in two colors: black and snow.
September 1, 2007
The Shirt Snob can't get enough of knotted details on tops! The Long Sleeve Knotted Top by Rachel Pally is certainly no exception. It has knot detail at the V-neck along with ruching, long sleeves, and banding at the V back. It's available in five colors too: black, cocoa, cream, graphite, lake, and midnight.
