Combo Cami Tunic by Rebecca Taylor
The Combo Cami Tunic by Rebecca Taylor has such an amazing print on the bodice that we are so excited to show it to you. It's a floral print with the background color different than the rest, making the flowers jump out a bit. There's also a satin bodice, double button closure and keyhole at the back ruching at the empire waist, thick straps, and a lining. It's available in charcoal and silver.

Kate Long Sleeve Top by Susana Monaco
Looking ahead to the fall, the Kate Long Sleeve Top by Susana Monaco is a great pick. It has ruching at the bust, banding at the wide, scoop neck, and long sleeves. It's available in three colors: black, midnight, and moulin rouge.

Blocked Flutter Sleeve Tunic at Max Studio
The Shirt Snob finds the Blocked Flutter Sleeve Tunic at Max Studio to be quite a flattering blouse. It has an obi sash at the empire waist which creates a flared shape, kimono sleeves, crossover V-neck, shirring at the waist, zig zag stitching, and is 100% silk. It'd look great with a bunch of different bottoms, and we love the teal color.

This Week at Threadless
Another week of Threadless tees, and we are much happier with the winners than last week. Our top picks include Hidden, Pretty World Inferno, Wanted, Nerds 22 Ever, and Marshmallow Factory.
Glenmorangie Blouse by Vena Cava
We're still trying to figure out the straps of this next top, the Glenmorangie Blouse by Vena Cava, but regardless of that, it's definitely an interesting top. Made of 100% silk, it has contrast banding and buckle detail at the bust, ruffle trim below the banding, slits at the sides, and a hidden zipper. As for those straps, they attach via buttons at the bust and go behind the neck from which there are back straps. So from the front it looks like a halter and from the back, more like a tank.
Chunky Marled Sweater Coat by Juicy Couture
The Shirt Snob has always been a big fan of sweater coats, and we are happy to have discovered the Chunky Marled Sweater Coat by Juicy Couture. This cable knit sweater has five buttons down the front, a tie at the waist, a shawl collar, pockets at the hips, and 3/4 length sleeves. It's available in dark grey and greystone.
July 29, 2007
Parochial School Shirt by LaROK
Ties for women never really took off, and we are pretty glad about that. But here is a cute take on it. The Parochial School Shirt by LaROK is a button down blouse with a V-neck, button patch pockets at the bust, cuffs at the short puff sleeves, and a small removable tie at the neck. It's available in graphite and white.

Belted Watteau Shrug by Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent
We don't see too many pointelle sweaters in dark colors. Here is one that is perfect for wearing into the fall. The Belted Watteau Shrug by Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent is a silk and cashmere mix with a belted waist, shawl collar, and short sleeves. It is semi-sheer and available in blue and grey.

Accessory Friday-Max & Chloe
Sometimes the Shirt Snob feels like we live under a rock. We'll discover a site and wonder how we ever lived without them, how we have gotten this far in life without ever heard of a place. This is the case for Max & Chloe. They are the ultimate accessory shop, selling bags, both fine and fashion jewelry, and a ton more. After quickly browsing their site, we've already discovered a ton of things we want. If you like to shop all at once instead of perusing many different stores, this is the place for you. We see a ton of pieces that we want! If you are in need of jewelry and bags, definitely consider them!
Ilonka Sweater by Theory
The Shirt Snob is starting to get a little sick of the hot weather, and we are looking forward to wearing heavier clothes again, especially sweaters. The Ilonka Sweater by Theory certainly has us excited for the winter months. This cropped sweater has short dolman sleeves, a ribbed funnel neck, and lighter colored stripes towards the bottom.
July 26, 2007
Newport Stripe Top by Ella Moss
No one does stripes like Ella Moss does. The Newport Stripe Top is yet another great example of this. It has a solid upper and sleeves and stripes throughout the body and at the hem of the sleeves. There's also slight ruching at the high waist, ties at the sleeves, and a V-neck. If you like this blouse, you will probably also like the Huntington Cami that we wrote about back in June.
Shauna Top by Theory
The Shauna Top by Theory has such an unusual print that will certainly help you stand out in a crowd. Made from 100% silk, it has short sleeves, ruching at the bust, and ribbed wool trim at the neck and cuffs. Once again, we've fallen for a black and white top!
July 25, 2007
Raven Top by Laura Dahl
While we wouldn't wear the Raven Top by Laura Dahl as you see in the picture without anything underneath, we still do love the top. Made from a cotton and silk mixture, it looks a little nicer than your usual t-shirt. However, the large foil birds (one is also on the back) reminds us of many tees out there. This top also has metallic top stitching for a little bit of sparkle, a deep V-neck, and banding at the neck.
Lightweight Stretch Twill Blazer by Marc by Marc Jacobs
The Lightweight Stretch Twill Blazer by Marc by Marc Jacobs is a fun jacket for fall. It's lightweight, 3/4 length sleeves, pockets at the bust and hip, a notched collar, and ruching at the back and shoulders. We love the color too. It's a little more interesting than many jackets out there.

Warning: Dirty Microbe
You may remember that Dirty Microbe sent the Shirt Snob a few tees for review back in January. Unfortunately, we have discovered via Tshirt Island that there are many unhappy customers. It looks like the company is charging credit cards and not sending out the tees. We are quite surprised and disappointed in the company. Last week we contacted them and asked for a response. We have yet to hear back from them. Therefore, we thought it wise to let you all know about the issues and to buy from them at your own risk.
Honeycomb Hoodie by Splendid
Hoodies that aren't cardigans aren't very prevalent, so we are glad to find the Honeycomb Hoodie by Splendid. This one is semi-sheer with a drawstring at the hood, a V-neck with ribbed banding, banding at the bottom hem, and long sleeves. It's available in four colors: avocado, sunflower, navy, and white.

Not Much At Threadless This Week
New tees are out at Threadless, and we don't really like any of them. They do have two reprints that are ok, Poker Hand Values and You've Got Some 'Splaining To Do! Hopefully next week will give up some better designs.
Indian Embroidered Top at Free People
The Indian Embroidered Top at Free People is a real beauty. This sheer, mesh blouse has intricate Indian inspired embroidery with beading at the deep V-neck, floral embroidery throughout, a cotton cami underneath, ruffled cap sleeves and a tie at the back. There aren't many tops reminiscent of Indian culture, which is one with such stunning fabrics and details, so this is a real find in our opinion.
Layla Tunic by C&C California
The Layla Tunic by C&C California is a great find. It is lightweight with raw edges at the sleeves, gathering at the rounded neck, and lots of crochet detail at the bottom. You can wear it with jeans or as a beach cover up.

Mesh V-Neck Tunic by Sweet Pea
Bluefly is probably my favorite place to get Sweet Pea. They have a ton of their tops there. We've just discovered the Brick Floral Mesh V-Neck Tunic, which we htink is so cute. Made from a nylon mesh, this top has a crossover V-neck, ruching at the bust, and contrasting fabric at the empire waist, neck, and wide short sleeves. The floral print is quite lovely too.

Accessory Friday-Gadget Carriers at Mamadama Designs
Everyone has a cell phone and an iPod these days. How do you carry yours around though? We really like the Gadget Carriers at Mamadama Designs. Just large enough to fit your phone or iPod, these carriers have great fabrics, so you can carry your gadgets around in style. They also have a couple of small pockets to hold your credit card or cash and can be ordered with a wrist strap, button, or snap. Some of our favorites include Lovin Lotus, Brown Pink Paisley, Pink Wallflower, and Yummy Flowers.
Wrap Sweater at Armani Exchange
We here at Shirt Snob love wraps. Now that fall is quickly approaching, we are hoping we see more tops like the Wrap Sweater at Armani Exchange. This wrap has a long and skinny tie at the waist, knit detail at the sleeves, and ribbing at the sleeves and bottom hem. It's available in black and chili.
July 19, 2007
Deep V Neck Knotted Top by Zoa
Not everyone can pull off a top with such a deep neckline such as the Deep V Neck Knotted Top by Zoa, but we still think it's a beauty. There's also gathering at the neck and the knot at the empire waist. It's available in black, white, bahama blue, gold, wild orchid, and blush.

New at Busted Tees
There are new tees available at Busted Tees. We really only like one, Soccer. Perfect for all of you Beckham fans out there!
Jersey Border Tunic at Max Studio
The colors on the Jersey Border Tunic at Max Studio get us so excited for fall. This would be such a great top to wear in a couple of months before the weather gets really cold. This tunic has an empire waist with ruffles and embroidery, a crossover V-neck, 3/4 length sleeves, and banding at the cuffs and neck.
Strella Short Caftan by Rory Beca
The Strella Short Caftan by Rory Beca is great because it has a few different styling options, and who doesn't like a bit of variety? The thick scarf ties around the waist however you'd like it, so you can do it high or low, wrap it a few times or have it hang down. There's also banding and ruching at the V-neck, 3/4 length sleeves, and it's 100% silk. This blouse is available in black, coral, deep violet, purple, teal, navy, and grey.

My Windup Bird
My Windup Bird is an independent tee company out of San Francisco. Their tees are hand screened and printed in small batches, so there's little chance of someone else having the same design as you. The company also donates a portion of each sale to humanitarian relief agencies. All this sounds great, but they also have some great designs too! The Shirt Snob's favorites are Mapbirds, Flowerbirds, Bacteria Collage Scoop Neck Tee, and Sutrobird. They also sell tees for men and babies.
Racer Back Tank by James Perse
The Shirt Snob isn't quite sure why we are so fascinated with the Racer Back Tank by James Perse, but we really like it. Really, it looks like nothing special, but maybe it's simplicity and how perfect it'd be for a laid back day is what draws us to it. The tank is semi-sheer with ribbing, banding at the scoop neck and racer back, a rounded bottom h em, and vertical seam detail down the back. It's available in three colors: argento, black, and white.

New Tees at Threadless
As it's Monday, there are new tees over at Threadless. Our top picks are Mother Knows Best, Play, Video Games Ruined My Life, and the reprints Burnout and 7.00.
Striped Classic Puff Sleeve Top by Ecoganik
It took us a while to figure out what we liked so much about the Striped Classic Puff Sleeve Top by Ecoganik, so we've put off writing about it for a few weeks while deciding if it was worthy of the Shirt Snob. But we have decided that it is because it is such a great mix of casual and girly. It's a t-shirt that's been dressed up a bit to be more feminine. It has puff sleeves, an empire waist, V-neck,three buttons down the front, contrast banding at the bottom hem, and a keyhole with tie at the back. It looks very comfortable, but much nicer than any of the tees in your closet.
Long Sleeve Knotted Top by Rachel Pally
The knot detail on the Long Sleeve Knotted Top by Rachel Pally makes this ordinary blouse quite something. Besides the knot, there's also ruching at the V-neck, banding at the V-back, and long sleeves. It's available in black, cream, and midnight.

Jersey Appliqué Halter Top by Lotta Stensson
We love the yellow and brown combination on the Jersey Appliqué Halter Top by Lotta Stensson, and we wonder why there aren't more tops with these two colors. This halter has a beaded floral design on the front, a deep V-neck, a tie behind the neck, an empire waist with an elastic, a satin tie at the natural waist, and a lined bust. It's quite a steal, get it before it's gone.

Accessory Friday-New at Anne Maa
There are some really neat pieces in the new Metal collection by Anne Maa. Many of the pieces are one of a kind, and they are fully of imperfections and irregularities that make them so neat and unique. The Shirt Snob doesn't wear silver much, but if we did, we'd want a whole lot of these! Our favorites include the Thin 3 Ring Set, the Sterling Swirl Bracelet, the Wrap Ring Set, and the Sterling Cross Blue Topaz Necklace.
Also, through the month of July get 15% off your order at Anne Maa with the coupon code "shirtsnob."
Bubble Sleeve Blouse by Juicy Couture
The Bubble Sleeve Blouse by Juicy Couture, especially in the pink color, is quite a girly top. It is 100% silk with a tie and keyhole at the neck, balloon edges at the bottom hem and cuffs, and short sleeves. It's also sheer and available in black as well.
Thorne Trench by Diane von Furstenberg
With Autumn coming up sooner than most of us would like, the Shirt Snob has been paying close attention to jackets and coats. We need one desperately, and the Thorne Trench by Diane von Furstenberg is our favorite so far. This flannel coat has six buttons down the front, button tab detail at the waist, pleating at the front and back, button flap pockets at the sides french cuffs, 3/4 length sleeves, and is lined. It's quite handsome too with great colors for fall!

Harry Potter Tees at Snorg Tees
To say the Shirt Snob is a Harry Potter fan is really minimalizing our obsession. We have anxiously been counting down the days and minutes until Deathly Hallows comes out since its release date was set months ago. If you are a fan, and especially if you want something Harry Potter related to wear to the release parties that doesn't involve a cloak and wand, these tees may be for you. Snorg Tees has two designs related to the books, Harry is My Homeboy and Wizards Do it With Wands.
New Tees at The Cotton Factory
There are new tees over at The Cotton Factory. We really like Jedi of the Month and GSF. They also have grab bags for only $2.99, so if you want cheap tees, this is your place.
Puckish is a small company on Elsewares that has a tee we really find irresistible. The Flight Tee has quite a pretty design that is focused on the left side of the top. It's printed on an American Apparel short sleeved tee with a scoop neck. Besides this top, Puckish sells a few other items including the High Voltage tee that we feel like we've seen somewhere else. It's not quite in the Shirt Snob's taste, but it is likable.
Short Sleeve Wrap Top by adam+eve
Here's an interesting wrap. The Short Sleeve Wrap Top by adam+eve is actually a faux wrap with three button detail at the side, button detail at the cuffs, short sleeves, and pleating at the shoulders. The color is also quite distinctive.

New at Busted Tees
New shirts are out at Busted Tees. They are coming out with so many recently, we can barely keep up! Friends Dial Drunk is pretty funny, if a bit of an old joke. And who does that? Is the Shirt Snob the only one who has never made such a call before? Might be a good tee to wear around your friends who do drink and dial to remind them not to.
Natalie Cami by Ella Moss
We're sure you all know how much we adore Ella Moss. Here's another great top from her. The Natalie Cami has a crossover V-neck, smocked banding at the empire waist, spaghetti straps, tonal stripes throughout, and is available in three colors: black, flamingo, and peacock.
Ava Top by Theory
The Ava Top by Theory has a 50's feel that we think is great. There's a large bow at the neck, ruching and a keyhole at the single button cuffs, an inverted pleat at the front, and short sleeves. It's a little different than a lot of the tops out there, so feel unique wearing it!
July 10, 2007
Nuda Tees is a new tee company on the web. They say that they are
yet another t-shirt site, but our tees are for really, really hip people.
So if you think you're hip, you should check them out for sure. Some of our favorite designs include Fishing for Planets, Shadow of Life, and pPod. Each design is available in both men's and women's sizes.
Favorite Game Tunic by Joie
Since we've already seen a cute print, let's look at another! The print on the Favorite Game Tunic by Joie is quite elegant. This top is 100% silk with a high back, a tie at the split V-neck and at the back, and ruching at the empire waist. We think it's actually quite versatile, you could dress it up or pair it with jeans.
Silk Rosette Print Top by Parameter
The Shirt Snob really likes the print on this next blouse, the Silk Rosette Print Top by Parameter. The floral graphic goes well with its other girly aspects, such as the puff sleeves with ruffles and the gathering at the rounded neck. It's also made of 100% silk and is sheer.

New Tees at Threadless
Yet more tees at Threadless today. We aren't super impressed this week. We do like Boredom and the reprints Birds & the Bees and Insomnia. There are a bunch of new kids tees out too.
New at Busted Tees
Busted Tees has two new tees that the Shirt Snob thinks are pretty funny. They are George W. Bush has Aides and Yoga is for Posers. Dramatic Chipmunk, which we mentioned last month, is also shipping now too.
Spandex Matte Jersey V-Neck Bite Top by Max Studio
Here's another great black and white find! The Spandex Matte Jersey V-Neck Bite Top by Max Studio is a long black top with white stitching throughout. There's also criss cross embroidery at the waist and shoulders, ruffles and shirring at the waist, a crossover bust, and no sleeves. It would work well with a ton of different bottoms.

Accessory Friday: Market Bags by Jaye Hersh
For Accessory Friday, we thought the Market Bags by Jaye Hersh (who started Shop Intuition) would be nice. These bags are stylish, come in two colors, and can be monogrammed. The Totes' and Weekenders' interiors are lined with canvas, have zip and slide pockets, and a coin purse or luggage tag. The Messanger Bag has the same pockets but also a velcro closure and zipper for the main pouch. The best part is that $35 of each purchase of these bags will go to the International Rescue Committee which provides education for war-affected children around the world.
Stay Melrose Top by Theory
We think the Stay Melrose Top by Theory is quite a flattering tank top. It has ruffle trim at the scoop neck and arms, banding and ruching at the empire waist, elastic banding at the neck, and straps that can be worn on or off the shoulders. It's available in black, jam, and white.

New at Noisebot
Noisebot has a ton of new tees available. The Shirt Snob's top picks include River Phoenix (which took a lot of staring on our parts before we got it), Good Grief, My Other Shirt's a Cosby Sweater, and Rushmore Beekeeper's Society.
Banded V Neck Sweater by KAROO Mark Eisen
We were mentioning how we'll soon be needing sweaters earlier this week. Here's another one that we really like. The Banded V Neck Sweater by KAROO Mark Eisen is a 100% cashmere top with a V-neck, ribbed banding at the bust and edges, and is semi-sheer. We love the color too, perfect for Fall!
July 4, 2007
Hamptons Halter Top by Ella Moss
The Hamptons Halter Top by Ella Moss is quite beautiful we think. It has a crossover V-neck, smocked banding at the empire waist, spaghetti straps that tie behind the neck, and is lined. Our favorite part is the crochet that covers the entire top, it is stunning. This halter is available in three colors: black, white, and zucchini.
Heather Crop Jacket by Parameter
The Shirt Snob is really loving these cute cropped jackets that are in the stores. They were certainly needed in the summer where we come from, and they can be used into the Fall as well. The vintage inspired Heather Crop Jacket by Parameter is one great example. It has white buttons down the front and at the bust and cuffed 3/4 length sleeves, white stitching, and a pleated panel beneath the bust. Wear over your favorite sun dress for a really adorable look!

Transformers Tees at Nerdy Shirts
Nerdy Shirts has come out with some Transformers themed tees for the release of the movie. The Shirt Snob isn't a huge robot fan, but we do like the Robots in Disguise tee. The glasses and mustache has us fooled every time!
Fine Gauge Linen Cotton Cardigan at Max Studio
The Fine Gauge Linen Cotton Cardigan at Max Studio is a great cover up for your cute camis. It has a leaf motif design along the neck and waist, a tie at the empire waist, ribbing on the sleeves, and unfinished bottom hem. It's available in three colors: clay, cream, and sage.
Blind Love Cashmere Tunic by Joie
It's hard to believe, but it's now July. And that means that Fall is right around the corner! If you're starting to think about your Fall wardrobe like we are, you might be interested in the Blind Love Cashmere Tunic by Joie. This sweater is 100% cashmere with 3/4 length kimono sleeves, ruching at the empire waist, and ribbed banding at the bust. It's available in caviar and dark heather grey.

New Tees at Threadless
There are new tees out at Threadless today. Our top picks include Fight Back!, Higher Higher, The Accident, My Father was a Sailer, and the reprint The Leftover. The wildly popular Spoilt is also reprinted, but as the Shirt Snob never guesses the ending of any book or movie, this tee is not for us!
I Like Seamonsters
We've just discovered an Etsy store, I Like Seamonsters, with some really cute designs. Some of our favorites include the tee I Like Seamonsters, Sometimes I Worry About Zombies, and Someday We Will All Be Ghosts. The store also sells mens and kids tees as well as other stuff too.
Ribbon Sexy Top by Foley for Foley + Corinna
The Ribbon Sexy Top by Foley for Foley + Corinna certainly lives up to it's name.
