The Shadow Stripe V-Neck by Splendid is a fun and easy top. It has a V-neck with ribbed banding, short sleeves, and banding at the bottom hem as well. And of course there are the shadow stripes throughout that change in width. We think it looks great paired with white bottoms like on this model.

Here's a unique top to start off our week. The Taylor Wide Sleeve Hoodie by Mike & Chris has a removable hood! There's also two snaps at the front, quilted banding and ruching at the waist, and elbow length bell sleeves with two inch cuffs. You can wear it more as a top without the hood or as a jacket with the hood. We love how versatile it is!

We forgot to tell you about the new tees at Snorg Tees. We really like That's What She Said (which Michael Scott says all the time on The Office, a hilarious tv show that you really should be watching if you aren't already). It's only available for pre-order now, but it'll be shipping in about a week, so it's not too long to wait.
April 28, 2007
There are new tees available at 70*7 with a charity, A Wish For Ava, that really tugs at the heart strings. Ava was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer when she was 2 1/2 years old. Wanting to help out her parents with their medical bills, one of the founders of 70*7 began accepting t-shirt submissions. As you may remember, all tees sold at 70*7 have charities tied into them. Unfortunately, Ava passed away last week. However, 70*7 is continuing their efforts to help her parents out. Right now there are two tees available, Love and Comrade Theo, and we believe more are coming. We think this is a great cause, and as a parent ourselves, out greatest sympathies go out to the parents, family, and friends of Ava.
Bluefly is having a sale on spring coats, jackets, and sweaters. Get an extra 15% off these items. No coupon code is needed. This sale ends early Wednesday morning. We like the Rebecca Taylor Tan Cashmere Floral Cardigan.
April 27, 2007
The Shirt Snob's moved (again), so we've been a little lax regarding sales. We apologize, but here's two deals for the weekend.
First, get 25% off T-Bags at National Jean Company this weekend only. We like the Printed Sexy Halter Top.
Pink Mascara is having free shipping through April 30. Use the code "APRILFREE" at check out. Your order must be at least $75 for the free shipping to apply.
For Accessory Friday, we are going to look at the Penny Ponies by MaryMo. We remember wearing similar items in our hair when we were really little, but Penny Ponies are more adult versions. Why wear a boring pony tail when you can spice it up a bit? They come in groups of four, with each four having different designs. The Shirt Snob really likes Made in the Shade and Double Take the best. Check out the rest of MaryMo's store, there's a bunch of other cute things for sale too.
The next eyelet top we found was the Eyelet Jacket by Cake Couture. It has clasps at the front, ends at the waist, is long sleeved, has a collar, and there is eyelet detailing throughout. It'd be perfect for day or night this summer!
Today is eyelet day. We just can't get enough of this beautiful look. The Kimberly Tunic from C&C California has floral embroidery throughout, elastic banding at the empire waist, is lined, and has spaghetti straps that tie. If you love eyelet as much as we do, you should definitely consider this one.
April 26, 2007
We love the prints by Nieves Lavi as we discussed earlier in the week, and the Neck Tie Long Sleeve Top is no exception. This blouse has a tie and keyhole at the high neck, three inch slits at the sides, elastic banding at the cuffs, and long sleeves. It's available in two great prints, grenada and paz.
This next top, the Crinkle Silk Chiffon Shell at Max Studio is stunning. This sheer tank has a diamond at the bust with contrasting colors, contrast trmi along the edges, a V-neck, ruching at the bust, and is 100% silk. Wear it with a camisole underneath or wear a jacket over it. Either way, you'll definitely stand out!
This next top, the Embroidered Tunic by Gracia is so adorable! It has floral embroidery detail throughout as well as along the bottom hem, matching trim is at the cuffs and collar, there are puff sleeves, and a sash is at the waist. It's available in two colors, navy and purple.
April 25, 2007
The Printed Cotton Silk Tank with Godet at Max Studio is beautiful and so romantic looking. It has a V-neck, adjustable satin straps, zig zag edges and seams, a tie in the back, padding in the bust, and is fully lined. The print is just gorgeous, and we can see ourselves falling in love while wearing this camisole.
We're going to do the same thing as yesterday and show you two shirts by the same designer. We love the Rock Top by LOVE from Ya-Ya just like we did the last one. Why choose one to show you when we could just write about both? This one has a deep V-neck, ruching at the bust and shoulders, and cap sleeves. It's available in heather grey and india, and it looks great alone or with a simple cami underneath.
We don't love the name of this next top, the Sweat Top LOVE from Ya-Ya, but we sure love how it looks! It has ruching and four buttons at the bust, a tie at the waist, and long straps that cross at the open back. It's available in opal and caviar.
April 24, 2007
Tees My Body (whom we wrote about originally in December) is having a big pre-summer sale to make room for new designs. Everything is only $7.99. Not all of them are available for women, but Fight Milk Expiration, Congratulations Idiot, Jason Basedow Lives, Samurai Baka, and Fun Size are all in women's sizes.
We love the design on the Floral Print Tank by Missoni Sport. It's a simple top with a scoop neck, high back, and thick straps. The floral design is wild and fun, and we love how colorful it is too.
With Cinco de Mayo coming up, Busted Tees has put their Cinco de Mayo tee on sale at $13.99. If you want to look cool on the big day, we highly recommend it. Sale ends April 30.
Here's another Rebecca Taylor pre-order. We find these annoying as we want our new tops to ship right away! But the Wrap Back Top is definitely one you don't want to miss. It is semi-sheer with a round neck, ruffled sleeves and hem, a floral design throughout, and a loosely wrapped back.
Although it's only available for pre-order, we really wanted to show you the Candyland Top by Rebecca Taylor because it's so darn cute. We love the vintage print! This blouse also has ruching at the scoop neck, a V at the neck, and 3/4 length sleeves.
April 23, 2007
There are new tees at Threadless, and we aren't super impressed this week. We really like the reprint Reach for the Stars, and I Like Cherry Flavored Popsicles is ok. Hopefully they'll have better stuff next week.
The Shirt Snob just became aware of Sub Urban Riot. They are a t-shirt company with some pretty cool designs. The website unfortunately doesn't allow us to link to individual products, and the website itself is a little hard to use (we suggest the text version). However, the designs are worth the small trouble. We really like Mammal and Shanimal the best.
We wrote about the Loose V Neck Button Tank by Nieves Lavi earlier this month, but now there are two new prints available that we really like. They are paz and anatolia (shown). We love how you could buy each print, and since they are all so different, no one would realize it's the same shirt!
We don't show you enough hoodies here at Shirt Snob, so we thought we'd start the week off with one. The Wallpaper Snap Pocket Hoodie by L.A.M.B. has a zipper closure at the front, pockets at the front that snap, striped and ribbed banding at the bottom hem and cuffs, and lamb print throughout. It's a fun hoodie and looks very comfy!
April 20, 2007
We've just discovered Yen Jewelry, and we're wondering how we've never heard of them before. They have some amazing, unique pieces that we'd do just about anything for. Some of our favorites include the Gold Fill and Lemon Topaz Necklace, the Gold Fill and Smoky Quartz Necklace, the Gold Fill and Green Amethyst Earrings, and the Maya Earrings.
Not all great tops have to be busy and ornate. The Velvet Romia Tunic w/Tie
is a simple shirt yet quite elegant. It has raw cut sleeves and hem, banding at the scoop neck, 3/4 length sleeves, and a tie at the waist. It's a great blue/grey color too that we really love.
April 19, 2007
Hot Bins is a new t-shirt company that we've recently discovered. They sell all their designs for men and women, and they screen print all their shirts. Our favorites include Fish with a Question, History Repeats Itself, Loving It?, and Zen Ninja.
This tube top, the 1x1 Rib Tube Top by James Perse is hot. It has a contrast stripe at the bust and bottom hem, a long tie at the waist, elastic banding at the top hem, and is semi-sheer. It's sexy and simple, and you all know how we love contrasting colors! It's available in two colors: brigade and soba.
We don't love the name of this next top, but we sure love how it looks! The Love by YA-YA Macho Sweat Shrug has a notched collar, large ribbed banding at the bottom hem, and 3/4 length dolman sleeves. We love how it hangs, it's definitely a unique sweater!
April 18, 2007
There are new tees available at Busted Tees. We think Leave Lindsay A-Lohan is pretty funny. Also, if you are into those pop culture types of tees, don't forget the Sanjaya tee is now available too.
There are new Oddica tees out, all with an octypus theme. The Shirt Snob really likes Flying Fish, it's such a funny design.
Shirt A Day is a neat idea. Each day, one tee design is available to you, both in men's and women's sizes. A new tee comes out the next day, so you have to jump on a design if you like it. Then there's the price, that's a whole other aspect to this site. We're just going to let them describe it for you:
Each shirt starts out with an opening price. That price is displayed below the date, to the left of the t-shirt image. That is the price everyone pays up front when placing an order. As more people come to the site and decide to buy a shirt as well, the PITE moves to the left, and the ultimate price you pay goes down… The refund you will receive is shown below the price in red and is the difference between the Price and the PITE. Within 24 hours of the close of that shirt we refund you the difference.
So basically if a tee is really popular, you pay less. We like how they refund you instead of giving you a credit. You can see their previous designs to see the types of tees they usually have. We think this is a great idea and hope Shirt A Day takes off!
We love how colorful this next top is, the Lolita Top in Yellow by Iodice. It has flutter sleeves, rainbow embroidery at the waist and down the back, and a square neckline. It's perfect for the warm weather coming up!
The Shirt Snob likes this next top, Ruffle Shoulder Top by Maria Bonita Extra
because the ruffles make it look so much fun. This tank is semi-sheer with a built in shelf bra, ruffles at the straps, and ruching at the bust. The ruffles take a shirt that would normally be ordinary and steps it up a notch to something extraordinary, and we love it! Available in white and black.
April 17, 2007
There are new tees over at Dirty Coast that we really like. They are Acadiana Self Reliance, Absinthe, and I Love Jesus. All tees are also available in both men's and women's sizes.
ISO50 is another t-shirt company that we've just discovered. It seems that all of their tees are available in both men's and women's sizes, but unfortunately, they only have pictures of them on men. We also don't see anything about sizing so we don't know what type of women's tees they are. However, we do like some of their designs, most notably Roots and Paths.
Sky has two new halter tops out that we adore. First is the Halter Top W/ Braided Trim which we like because the braids are so pretty. This halter has a deep V-neck with tonal braided straps that tie behind the neck and also are knotted and cross beneath the bust at the empire waist. It comes in two colors: charcoal and espresso.
Next up is the Zebra Print Halter Top with it's sexy animal print. It has a leather braided band at the empire waist, ruching at the bust, and a tie behind the neck. It's available in black and pecan.
We love this next top, the L Racer Top by The Breed, because there are so many different ways to wear it. This tank has ruching at the racer back, and draped sashes that extend from the back that you can tie in the front, behind the neck, cross along the bust, and more. We love the versatility, it makes this top seem like four! It's available in black and storm.
April 16, 2007
Threadless has more new tees out today. The Shirt Snob's favorites include War and Peas, Eclipse!, I Have Something To Tell You, Disbelief, and the reprint Impossible Love.
Oh, how we love this next one, the Tie Waist Sweater from Generra. The low waist with a tie fits so well here and really looks so put together. This sweater also has banding at the waist, pleating at the scoop neck and waist, a rolled bottom hem, and 3/4 length sleeves. It's available in eggshell and clay.
You might remember circular accessories, whom we wrote about in February. They've come out with a new design that we just love. The Gigantic Creme Tree Owls is printed on American Apparel shirts, has cap sleeves, and is 100% cotton. The designer only prints the tees as they are ordered, so you know you're getting personal attention in a tee made just for you! And it's the cutest design we've seen in a while too!
Happy Monday readers! We thought we'd start the week off with a fun and sexy blouse, the Open Back Top by Spring & Clifton. This cotton and cashmere mix has an open back with a single button closure at the top, cap sleeves, and a very simple front. If you like to show off some skin, this is a fun and different way to do it!
April 15, 2007
With the layered look all the rage, here's an awesome top that does the work for you. The Twisted Double Tank by James Perse is a layered tank with a scoop neck in the front, a racer back, and a twisted bottom hem. If you have a hard time working out layering, this is a great tank for you.
April 14, 2007
We've been meaning to tell you all about this amazing top, the Tovah Top by Velvet, for a long time now, but we somehow lost it in the shuffle. Lucky for all of us it's still available! It has ruching and layer detail at the bodice, an unfinished bottom hem, wide straps, rounded neck, and a tie and ruching at the empire waist. It's very flattering for women with a thin figure. Available in black and graphite.
Here's yet another great one from T-Bags. The T-Bags Printed V Neck Sleeveless Top, available in three beautiful prints, is a stunning top. It has a V-neck and a V at the back, ruching at the bust and back, gathered elastic banding at the empire waist, an unfinished asummetrical bottom hem, and twisted straps. If you want to make an impression, T-Bags is the way to go.
Edited to add April 18:
This top is also available in a watermelon color as well!
April 13, 2007
This week we're showing you some bags that we just love from Oktak. There are a ton of great fabrics to choose from, and the bags are a lot of fun. Some of our favorites include the Green Pods Large Tote, the Green Wallpaper Flowers Magazine Bag, the Orange Kitschy Flowers Square Rainy Day Bag, and the Tree Top Kitties Two-Tone Pouch. All of their products are made from vintage fabric from the 60s and 70s, except the rainy day bags which are made from bright-colored, water-repellent fabric. Each is also either one of a kind or one of only two or three, so you can pretty much guarantee you won't see someone else with your purse on the street. Oktak also sells baby products that have these great prints too!
Shop Bop is giving their customers a break on their orders between today and April 16. Get $20 off orders of $100 or more, $50 off orders of $250 or more, and $100 off orders of $500 or more. Use the code "TAXBREAK2007" at check out. Surely our readers have noticed how much we love Shop Bop here, so we are thrilled about this great deal!
We really like how casual this next top looks The Crochet Blouse by Charlotte Ronson has a tie with beads at the neck, crochet detailing at the top, neck and sleeves, and buttons going down the front. This is a great one for the beach this summer we think.
Get up to 40% off tees and tops at Bluefly. Our pick is the Mocha Polka Dot Chiffon Trim Camisole by Cynthia Steffe.
Get 21% off all new tanks at Festa Stuff, now through April 21 at 10:41 Newfoundland Standard Time (yeah, we have no idea). Use the coupon code "FRIDAY13" at check out. They also have free standard shipping as always.
For their TGIF sale this week, CoutureCandy is giving you $25 off your order when using the code "TAXSEASON" at check out. A minimum order of $150 before taxes is needed for this deal to work.
Finally, Hippy Chix is having a closet sale. Get 15% off orders up to $149 with the code "wqhx15" and 20% off orders of $149 or more with the code "wqhx20." This sale ends on April 15.
Edited to add 4/14:
Get 25% off Zoa at National Jean Company this weekend only. No code is needed.
Get 20% off your order at Active Endeavors when you use the code "spring" at check out between now and May 8. This doesn't apply to sale items.
The Shirt Snob was originally drawn to this top because of the beautiful blue color. You don't see it very often, especially in the spring, but we think it just shines! The Naveen Baby Jersey Top by Velvet has a deep V-neck, a rolled bottom hem, gathering and elastic banding at the empire waist, thick straps, and is double layered at the bust. It's also available in white, black, and sport red.
April 12, 2007
Busted Tees has a couple of new designs out. The Sanjaya tee is finally available and ready to ship, and License to IL is new as well.
Fred Flare is having a tee sale. Get all their tees at only $14.99. No code is needed, but this deal ends tomorrow. Our picks are the Little Miss Trouble Tee and the Cloudy Rainbow Tee.
Rebe has new clothes for spring. You might remember them from last August when we first discovered this company. We really like the Della Tank, Emmitt Jacket, Sara Sweatshirt, and the Cardi Sweater. There's also a lot of cute tops on sale too.
Vintage Vantage has new shirts out. We like Blink, Posies hoodie, and Shin Splints. They also are selling their older designs for only $10. These tees are not being reprinted, so if you like a design, get it before it's gone.
Quixotic Clothing is a tee company that we really like. Started last winter , they are two young adults who just make great designs. They don't have a ton of women's tees, but maybe if you press them we can get them to open up more designs to us! Our favorite design is definitely Windmill, but we do like Robot and Goat too.
Ok, so we know it isn't sweater season right now. But when we find something we like, we have to tell you about it. And we like this sweater. The 3/4 Sleeve Kimono Sweater by Lauren Moffatt is loose knit, has a tie at the waist, 3/4 length kimono sleeves, and is quite long. Some of our readers must live in colder climates right? Or maybe you should buy it for the fall, it'll be here before you know it!
April 11, 2007
In celebration of the one year anniversary of the Modish Blog, it's author has decided to start a store of her own, Modishoppe. This store is set up to showcase indie talent out there. They sell a lot of different things, including accessories, paper goods, home goods, and more. We are of course interested in the shirts though. Our favorites include the Blue Garden Top, Horse & Vines Top, and Black Forest Tee.
We've recently discovered Oolong Tees, and we knew we had to share. They aim to support artists by providing a wearable showcase of their work. Each tee is a limited production. Designed by a bunch of different artists, these shirts are definitely unique. We really like Elephant, Turtle, and Treebird the best. But we highly recommend you check them out for yourself as they are all quite different.
It may sound silly, but this next top makes us think of frolicking in fields full of flowers and of the innocence of childhood. We realize that's a lot for one top, but maybe you'll agree. The Lace Trim Cami by Karen Zambos has a great vintage looking floral print with blue lace edging, verticle lace stripes at the bust, an empire waist with a black satin front tie, and side buttons. It reminds us of something we would have worn as a child, but with an adult twist to it!
April 10, 2007
SuperMaggie! is having a sale on some of their tees as well as on a bunch of scarves. We love a lot of their designs, hopefully you will check them out!
For the rest of the month, Pink Mascara is having free shipping on orders of $75 or more.
Who would have guessed a print of little elephants could be such a cute top? The Elephant Cotton Cami by Maria Bonita Extra has a repeating elephant print throughout with a V-neck, ruching at belt loops at the waist, six buttons down the front, thick straps, and a twist in the straps at the back. The color combinations make this a really fun top!
As an American Idol fan, the Shirt Snob just doesn't understand the obsession with Sanjaya. Love him or hate him though, he's certainly a popular topic amongst fans of this show. We told you about a Sanjaya tee for pre-order at Busted Tees last week, and now there's another tee dedicated to the most controversial person on the show. Don't Hate Me Because I'm Beautiful is now for sale at Cotton Factory for those of you who can't get enough of Sanjaya.
Here's another white camisole for you! The Tencel Cotton Jersey Camisole Tee at Max Studio has braided trim, baby ruffles, and embroidery at the neck, adjustable straps, and rolled edges. With a top this intricately designed, you won't need to wear any jewelry! Dress it up with a simple jacket or pair it with jeans for a casual look.
We love how flowy this next top is. The Loose Fit Bra Top by Rachel Pally has bra detail at the bust, pleating at the empire waist, an unfinished bottom hem, and banding and ruching at the straps. It's available in cream, midnight, and black.
April 9, 2007
More Threadless tees were released today. The Shirt Snob likes Can't See the Forest But For the Socks (which is also available in a hoodie), Ballad of the Birds (also available in a long sleeved tee), and the reprints Satan's Little Helper (again, available in a hoodie) and Water, Just Water.
It's been a little while since we showed you an eyelet top. The Deep V Blouse by Catherine Malandrino has eyelet detail throughout as well as yoke and pleating at the waist, textures throughout, pleating at the cuffs, puff sleeves, a lined bust, and a hidden side zipper. It's very feminine, flirty, and flattering, and we love how the sleeves aren't over the top, which could turn a beautiful blouse into an 80s nightmare.
We love how simple and yet flattering this next tank looks. The Tank by Clu is available in five colors (white, black, rose, shadow grey, and herbal green), has a crossover V-neck, banding at the empire waist, ruching at the bust and waist, spaghetti straps, and is semi-sheer. We think this would be a great tank to wear to the beach!
April 8, 2007
This next top, the Pointelle Camisole by James Perse, reminds us of the Pleated Cami we covered on April 5th. Both take an average but cute top and add a slight contrasting color to really make it special. The Pointelle Camisole is semi-sheer with striped banding at the empire waist and V-neck, a drawstring at the waist, and adjustable spaghetti straps. Besides white, it is also available in mackerel.
Sometimes you want a simple tee without graphics yet one that isn't boring. The Short Sleeve Twist Top by James Perse fits that bill. This semi-sheer tee has banding at the scoop neck, twisted banding at the sides, an unfinished rounded bottom hem, and cap sleeves. It looks comfy and cozy while still being sexy. It's available in white and mackerel.
Get an extra 20% off at Bluefly today only on select items. No code is needed.
Bag Borrow or Steal is having a deal for first time customers. Use the code "ASP151B" to get 15% off your first borrow. This deal is good through April 20.
At P&J Styleworx, get 30% off your order between now and tomorrow. Use the code "SPRING30" at check out.
April 7, 2007
The Shirt Snob thinks this next top is so cute. The Verve Rownia Top by Theory has a wide neck, five buttons at the bust, ruching at the shoulders, banding and ruching at the bottom hem and cuffs, rolled edges, and short sleeves. We think the wide neck is a nice feature, not enough shirts have it. This top is available in pewter and ginger.
We love this next top, the Elsa by Elizabeth Gillet Ltd. because it's so diverse. You can wear it with a bunch of different tops underneath, which can be dressy or casual. It is intricately knit with banding along all the edges and the short sleeves. This shrug is also available in three colors: sage, ivory, and black.
April 6, 2007
Pink Mascara has free shipping this weekend. Use the code "easter" at check out. You must spend at least $75 for this deal to apply.
Couture Candy is having a TGIF sale today on Vanitas and Dutchy. Get 25% off (not including sale items) when using the code "happyfriday" at check out. Our pick is the Strapless Eyelet Top we wrote about last month by Vanitas.
We haven't looked at purses for a long time now. So for Accessory Friday this week, we're showcasing Tucker Paisley. The Shirt Snob has never been a huge paisley fan in the past, but we think it's mostly because we didn't ever see good paisley. The prints are these bags are really pretty and makes us love it! Some of our favorites include The Molly Shoulder, The Sue-Sue, and The Julia (check out the bamboo handles!). They also sell card holders, which the Shirt Snob is now wanting for her Mommy cards!
The Shirt Snob thinks this next one, the Gather String Halter Top by Susana Monaco, is quite spunky. It has ruching and banding at both the V-neck and the empire waist. Spaghetti straps also tie behind the neck. It's available in three bright colors: eucalyptus, baltic, and pucker. Every year, Susana Monaco has great string halter tops. We're glad this year is the same!
We love the shape of this next top, the Birkin Tank by Vena Cava. It's fitted and quite flattering we think. Made of 100% silk, it has four buttons going down the bust, button flap pockets at the bust, banding and ruching at the waist, contrast banding at the neck and straps and thicker banding at the bottom hem, a hidden zipper at the side, and wide straps. The print is fun and colorful too, which would really match a similar personality!
April 5, 2007
We love how polished the Hopsack Jacket by Rebecca Taylor looks. This textured jacket has four buttons down the front, seam detail and ruching above the bust and at the back, elbow length sleeves, and is lined. It's available in olive and cream and would be a great way to cover up in style this summer.
If you like white tops like the one below, you'll probably also like the Coco Top by Catherine Malandrino. This tank has a knot detail at the bust, pleating at the empire waist, a balloon bottom hem, grosgrain straps, a hidden side zipper, and it is lined. We love how it flows. It's so feminine and beautiful, quite a stunning top!
We really like this next top, the Pleated Cami by James Perse because of the contrast stitching at the waist. It makes it stand out without being bold. It also has pleating at the empire waist, a snap closure at the side, adjustable spaghetti straps, and is semi-sheer.
April 4, 2007
The Shirt Snob feels like the sales are coming out in full force this week. Here's a few more:
At National Jean Company, get 15% off on your order when using the code "NATTY15" at check out. This offer expires on April 15.
Nerdy Shirts is having a sale on the Digg Me tee we mentioned recently as well as on their Batman tee. They also have a new 24 themed tee available, but as we don't really like the show (yes, we are the only ones in the country not watching!), we don't really care for it.
Retro Rags is having a sale on their John's Recovery Room tee. We can't stress enough how you should sign up for their newsletter. The Shirt Snob has won a second tee from them just for being signed up. Who doesn't love free stuff, especially cool stuff?
T-Shirt Freaks is yet another one of those tee companies aiming for the college crowd. They have some funny designs, such as Hello Pirate Kitty, I Love Lamp, and For Hire. One of the best aspects of T Shirt Freaks is that you have a lot of choices. You can choose between four different types of shirts (including baby doll and tank top), and there are also a bunch of different colors you can choose for your shirt as well.
The Shirt Snob isn't sure what it is about this next blouse that makes us think of Greek goddesses, but we can't help but be reminded of Grecian tops we found two summers ago. The Crinkle Silk Chiffon Flutter Tunic at Max Studio has a V-neck with contrasting color, flutter sleeves, a bottom hem that is longer at the sides, and pintucking down the front with contrasting color and sparkles. We think it'd be hard not to feel majestic in it!
This next top is simple yet we really like it a lot. The Bye Bye Birdie Slip Cami by Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent is 100% silk, semi-sheer, has adjustable spaghetti straps, a V-neck, and smocked banding at the empire waist. It's a casual looking tank, but since it's silk it could really help dress up your outfit.
This next blouse will be one you'll get a ton of use out of as you'll be able to continue wearing it for years to come. The Warwick Stripe Agnes Top by Theory is semi-sheer with five buttons down the front, a fold over collar, rounded bottom hem, short sleeves with two buttons at the cuffs, and smocked banding at the shoulders. Wear it to work or when you're hanging out with friends, as it'll work in most situations.
April 3, 2007
Remember the Linen Dita Top we discovered last month? Here's a very similar one also by ingwa; melero, the Charmeuse Dita Top. Made from 100% silk, it has ruching at the empire waist, underwire bra detail at the bust, a laced tie at the back, hidden zipper at the side, and spaghetti straps. It is available in two colors: shell and blue.
The picture isn't great on this one (it's hard to see details on black shirts), but we still think the Wicked Embroidered Smock Top by Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent is great. Made of 100% silk with a cotton lining, this blouse has embroidery at the scoop neck, sheer, flutter sleeves, ruching at the shoulders and pleating at the bust. If only it was available in more colors so we could get a better look at it!
There are two new sales we just discovered. First is Random Shirts, who is having a clearance sale. Get 50% off all clearance items when using the code "CrazyClearance" at check out. This lasts until April 15.
Wolfgang's Vault is having a 30% sale on select tees. No code is necessary, and the sale ends on April 30.
The Shirt Snob is really into cardigans right now. We always bring something to put over us even in the warmest of weather, so we find cardigans quite useful all year round. The Ribbed Cardigan by Wilen Los Angeles is definitely one to keep in mind. It is extra long, has vertical ribbing, thick horizontal ribbing on the edges, and is light weight. It's also available in three colors: wine, 18 karat, and robin's egg. Just be careful because it runs small.

Another week, another bunch from Threadless! Our favorites are Korova Orange Special, One of These Days We'll Fly, and the reprint Love*Rain. There's also a winner for the Tribeca Film Festival contest, Reel Passion.
The Cotton Ramie Hankie Sleeveless Blouse at Max Studio is so feminine and beautiful, it makes the Shirt Snob think of romance novels. Available in white and black, this top has ruffles on the straps and bust, shell buttons at the back, smocking below the empire waist, an asymmetrical hemline, and adjustable spaghetti straps. It would look great with a nice pair of jeans or something dressier, so you can get a lot of use out of it!
We really like the chunky necklace collar of this next top, the Sofie Tank by Sky, especially since you don't see them very often. It also has ruching at the waist, and bust and a V-neck underneath the neck. We are a little confused as to why it's called a tank when it's obviously a halter top, but we still love it!
Bluefly is having a sale on tops right now, with many up to 40% off. We found one that we just love, the Ivory Eyelet Tie Front Blouse by Rebecca Taylor. It has cropped sleeves, lace trim around the neck, a single tie at the front, a slightly flared hem, and floral eyelet detailing all about it. Originally sold for $260, it's now available for only $156. What a great deal!
Noisebot has new designs out. The Shirt Snob's favorites include Follow the White Rabbit and She Was Not the One. Noisebot is also having a sale for the month of April. Get 15% off your order by using the code "AprilAwesomeness" at check out.
Congratulations to Liz from WA, who uses shirts to express herself (just like the Shirt Snob!) and Moxy from MA, who reads Shirt Snob to "find out what shirts are the best and where lie all the rest." Both of them won a Threadless t-shirt from our giveaway. We are hoping to hold another contest soon, so keep a look out for it! Remember, the only way you can win is by signing up for our new and improved newsletter if you haven't already.
Happy Monday lovely readers! We're going to start the week off right with a funky print from Nieves Lavi. The Loove V Neck Button Tank is a semi-sheer cami with pleating at the bust, ruching at the back, eight buttons down the front, and spaghetti straps. Besides shira shown, there's another fun print available, alhambra.
