Mesh and Jersey Cami by James Perse
We really like this next tank because it'd be perfect to help hide a few extra pounds if you're still trying to lose your winter weight at the start of spring. The Mesh and Jersey Cami by James Perse has a high seam above the bust with ruching. There's also mesh details at the top and bottom hems, a keyhole and two buttons at the back, and spaghetti straps. It's available in three colors: white, mackerel, and nolina. You may also like the Mesh and Jersey Cap Sleeve Top.

Full Sleeve Tunic by Mara Hoffman
The Full Sleeve Tunic by Mara Hoffman is definitely a loud, out there top, but if you want to be seen, it's probably for you. Made of 100% silk, it has a V-neck, 3/4 length sleeves, banding at the cuffs, and a tie at the waist. We love the floral print, it's beautiful and fun.

Camisole by Charlotte Ronson
Up next from Charlotte Ronson is the Camisole. Available in ivory and taupe, this cami has nine buttons up the front, ruching at the waist and bust, cutout detail and embroidery at the V-neck and body, is lined, and has adjustable spaghetti straps. We love the embroidery detailing, it really makes this top stand out!

3/4 Sleeve Blouse by Charlotte Ronson
Yesterday was a T Bags day, so let's make today all about Charlotte Ronson because we're found two great tops by her. First up is the 3/4 Sleeve Blouse. Made from a silk and cotton mix, this sheer top has a split V neck, ties at the neck, ruching at the bust and back, 3/4 length sleeves, and crochet trim at the edges. We think it's a perfect cover up for the beach. If only spring would get here sooner!

Off the Shoulder Top by T Bags
We've been showing you so many of T Bags' tops, why not just do one more at this point? The Off the Shoulder Top by T Bags (which is also available in prints!) has ruching at the top hem, ties at the cuffs, an unfinished bottom hem, 3/4 length sleeves, and is off the shoulder as the name implies. It's available in black and white.
Chain Neck Printed Halter Top by T Bags
The Shirt Snob just can't get enough of these T Bag prints! Here's another great top, the Chain Neck Printed Halter Top. Available in two great prints, this halter top has a scoop neck with chain and ribbon detail that ties behind the neck. There's also ruching at the bust and an unfinished bottom hem. If you like the top but not the prints, there's also solid black and white versions too.

Accessory Friday-Fabric Belts by Belle Bags
The Shirt Snob loves fabric belts (we almost designed one ourselves at 1154 Lill earlier this week), so when we discovered these cute ones by Belle Bags, we knew we had to share. They are perfect for taking a drab outfit and making it more interesting and fun. Each belt is 1 1/2 inches wide and about 40 inches long. They have the same fabric on both sides, are stitched with a contrasting color, and have either a dark wood or acrylic buckle. There are only three different patterns available right now, but you can see from the picture that more have been made in the past, so let's home they become available again soon!
Blair Tank by C&C California
The Blair Tank by C&C California is a bit less simple than many of their tops. It has banding and ruching at the bust, a built in bra, and elastic banding at the back. It seems very soft and comfortable, the type of tank that you don't have to think about, you just put on with a cute pair of jeans.
February 22, 2007
Cotton Tunic by Vince
Whether you're lucky enough to go on vacation somewhere warm this winter or if you're just looking for tops for this summer, we know this one would be a great addition to your wardrobe. The Cotton Tunic by Vince is a semi sheer top with smocked banding at the shoulders, a V-neck with a tie, ruching at the bust and back, 3/4 length sleeves, and a single button at each cuff. It'd be the perfect cover up to your bathing suit or a cute camisole or tank.
Circular Accessories
Circular Accessories is actually a clothing shop on Etsy. They don't sell accessories as the name implies. That's ok though because we really like their designs, which are all hand silkscreened. Some of our favorite designs include the Swamp Grass Olive Scoop Neck Top, Moon Glow, Black Lotus, and Lucky Irish Lassie Top, which is perfect for St. Patrick's Day coming up. There are also onesies, toddler clothing, and men's tee available as well.

Hankerchief Blouse by 3.1 Phillip Lim
Here's a super girly blouse that all you romantics will love. The Hankerchief Blouse by 3.1 Phillip Lim is 100% silk with a dot and flower pattern throughout, handkerchief detail at the front, ribbon trim at the neckline, and flutter sleeves. This is a great one to dress up or down depending on what you wear with it.
Liquid Jersey Top by Harkham Clothing
We found a couple of great Harkham tops last week, and here's another. The Liquid Jersey Top in grey has an empire waist, a crossover V-neck, and two ties around the front straps which creates gathering at the bust. It's definitely a modern look, and it's one that we just love.
February 20, 2007
Braided Tie Tube Top by T Bags
This top is so much fun, it's definitely for people who like to stand out at a party and be the center of attention. The Braided Tie Tube Top has gather detail at the bust, an unfinished bottom hem, and extra long braided straps that attach at the center of the bust, forming a sort of V-neck. It's available in two fun prints, yellow and orange.
New Tee at 70 * 7
There's a new tee at 70 * 7. If you'll remember, this company gives a lot of money to non profit organizations. The new tee, Kings & Thieves, is donating to AC&E, a charity that is "devoted to reaching, training, and mentoring industry professionals and emerging artists in both spiritual and professional excellence, in order to release their creative power through their craft in a uniquely world changing way." If you like the design, consider a purchase to help out others!

Slub Jersey Shirt by Splendid
We really like the color of this next top, the Slub Jersey Shirt by Splendid. The green color (also known as golf) works perfectly for the upcoming spring months. It has a V-neck, ribbing at the neck, cuffs, and waist, dolman sleeves, and is also available in white and black.

There is something special about this next top that makes us really crave it. The Lines Top by Harkham Clothing has a sheer back and sleeves, eyelet detailing at the sleeves and at the empire waist, a slip underneath, banding at the unusual neckline, and gathering at the bust. There is also a criss cross pattern on the bottom half of the blouse, and what looks like black paint drops are scattered in a few places as well. This blouse is unique and simply stunning. If you like it, you may also enjoy the Lines Dress.
February 15, 2007
Silk Cashmere Vest by Rebecca Taylor
We think this next blouse is super feminine and beautiful. The Silk Cashmere Vest by Rebecca Taylor has a belt around the waist, puff sleeves, floral lace throughout, and crocheting around all the hems. We really love the color, and it'd be such a great way to dress up even an ordinary t-shirt. Unfortunately, this top is only available for pre-order until March 16, but we think you should order it. In a month you'd be in for a huge treat in the mail! Buy yourself a Valentine's Day present!
Crop Tank by Karen Zambos
The Shirt Snob likes this next top, the Crop Tank by Karen Zambos, because it's shorter than most other shirts out there. If you want to show off a little skin or are sick of all your tops hanging down to mid-hip, this one is for you. Besides the cropped bottom, it also has a drape front, thick straps, a racer back, and a gathered bottom.
February 14, 2007
Threadless
It's Threadless time again. This week we really like the new designs Bacteria, the Type Tee Being Vague, and the reprints Fake Pandas Have More Fun and 99 Luftballoons.
Tube Top by Walter
Here's a fun one that is typical of the Shirt Snob's tastes. The Tube Top by Walter has a chocolate gingham pattern that we can't help but love. It has a constructed bodice with button detailing down the front, and it's fitted on the top but loser in the bottom half. It can also be worn with or without the straps, so it can be either a tube top or a halter top. We love the versitility!
Little Odd Forest Tanks
Happy Valentine's Day readers! The Shirt Snob really enjoys the designs of this next store, Little Odd Forest. They have some cute tank tops such as the Wandering Forest Deer Tank Top, the Riding on Croco Tank Top, and the Love Tree Squrrel Tank Top. They also make sure cute pouches as well, such as the Pair of Leaves Big Pouch. This is an independent designer, so support the little guy and consider Little Odd Forest!

Review: Lucky Threadz
The Shirt Snob received two tees from Lucky Threadz to do a review! We are very excited as they have some funny designs on their site, and we were impressed when we first discovered them last month. The tee we received is Hasselhoff, which we chose because he was all the rage this past summer and is always a fun joke and we love how his name is written like Waffle House.
We received our order promptly in a cardboard tube which we really liked. These tees are printed on American Apparel, so if you own a few you know how they fit. The Shirt Snob ordered a medium, and we found it to be just a tad tight for us. But we are sort of in between sizes and hopefully losing those last few pregger pounds soon, so it will fit better. The tees come down to about mid hip, so if you're a very curvy gal, you might want to order a size up to compensate. The prints are great on the tees we received. There isn't a blemish anywhere, and they are holding up in the wash.
Customer service with Lucky Threadz has been great. They have been quick with responding to us and more than helpful. The Shirt Snob has been emailing with Jake in particular, and he's answered my questions and been great!
Overall, we are very happy with our tee from Lucky Threadz, and we highly recommend you buy some shirts from them! They've also added some new designs recently. We really like Apple Pi and Induced Cookie Dough the best.
New at Oddica
Oddica has new tees out this week! We really like the M Ward Limited Edition tee as well as Black Hawk Down and Gramaphone Ghosts.
Belle Top by Johnny Was
We love the print of the Belle Top by Johnny Was, it's perfect for spring! Made of 100% silk, it has a V-neck, a pearl brooch at the bottom of the neck, and a large key hole in the back. There is banding at the neck as well as a strip down the front and much larger banding at the bottom as well as flutter sleeves.
February 12, 2007
Goddess Top by Tricia Fix
The Shirt Snob really thinks this next tank, the Goddess Top by Tricia Fix, is a great top for Valentine's Day. It's definitely made for confident women, and if you think you are one of them, good for you! It has black and white satin trim at the back of the straps and at the waist. There's a deep V-neck with an elastic band at the empire waist that provides a key hole below it. Besides red, it is also available in black and white and grey sequin. If you like this top, also consider the Goddess Long Dress in red, black, and black and white and the Goddess Short Dress in blue snake, grey sequin, black and white, and black lace.

We think the name of this next blouse is great, perfect for the upcoming holiday. The Love Untold Top by Joie is a jersey top with a key hole and drawstring at the scoop neck, 3/4 length sleeves, and elastic banding at the cuffs. The print is very nice too, very simple and pretty.

Accessory Friday-Clutches by and sometimes Y
The Shirt Snob has just discovered and sometimes Y over at Chocosho, and we love this designer's clutches. They are constructed out of vintage men's ties, and we really like the color combinations. Each has subtle embroidery, has a magnetic snap closure, and there's a large vintage button over the closure on each. Our favorite is definitely the Shade of Brown Clutch, but there is also the Shade of Red and Grey Clutch, the Aqua Purple Clutch, the Cyan-Red Paisley Clutch, and the Unicorns in Creme Clutch.

Couture Candy is having another Friday sale. This week, get an extra 20% off sale items. Use the code "20SALE" at check out. Items that are clearance and already marked down 50% or more are not eligible unfortunately, but we still think this is a pretty good deal. And it's only good for today!
Bra Gather 3/4 Sleeve Top by Susana Monaco
Here's a simple yet handsome blouse that looks very flattering. The Bra Gather 3/4 Sleeve Top by Susana Monacohas banding at the V-neck and at the empire waist, 3/4 length sleeves, and ruching at the bust and waist. It seems fitted at the bust, but loser at the stomach, so it would be a great top to wear if you want to accentuate certain areas while hiding others. It is available in four colors: rootbeer, midnight, black, and raisin.

Cashmere Zen Sweater by Theory
We may have mentioned before how we love sweaters that you can continue to wear once spring starts to hit. Here is one you definitely could wear long after the snow disappears. The Cashmere Zen Sweater by Theory is 100% cashmere with banding and ruching at the scoop neck and cap sleeves. It's soft and simple, yet quite elegant. Available in white and light heather.
Paper Plain
The Shirt Snob first discovered Paper Plain because of their political t-shirts. They have a blue donkey tee and a red elephant tee, so if you like to wear your politics, you might want to consider these. But Paper Plain has so much more than that. They have tees for a variety of different animals such as a Penguin Tee and a Platypus Tee (and you can get your political animal without the red and blue colors if you want to be a little more discreet), historical tees, and their Go Series, which has a bunch of really beautiful designs (Flowergirl and Tree of Life are probably our favorites, but it's hard to choose because we like them all). We really think you should check out Paper Plain and see all their great designs yourself.

S/S Organza Top by Rebecca Taylor
At first glance, the Shirt Snob thought nothing of this next top. But after looking at it more closely, we've come to realize how great it would be to have something like this in your closet. The S/S Organza Top by Rebecca Taylor is a great way to dress up a simple camisole or tank top in one quick step. Made of 100% silk, it has pleated ruffles going down the front, at the neck, and at the short sleeves, iridescent disk buttons down the front, and pintucking at the back. And we really like the dark blue color. It's not too wild but a nice change from black.
Banded Olympia Top by Daryl K
The Banded Olympia Top by Daryl K is definitely a fun one. This cotton blouse has one inch banding and the neck and above the bust with ruching at the bust, shoulders, and back. It has short sleeves and elastic banding at the cuffs. We really love the color. If you want to stand out amongst everyone else, this is a great top to wear. It's also available in black and paramount white.
New at Busted Tees: I'm With Cupid
Busted Tees has a new tee out in time for Valentine's Day, I'm With Cupid. We're a big fan of holidays, so we of course love this tee! And in case you don't get it (hey, the Shirt Snob was slow at first and had to think about it for a bit), cupid rhymes with stupid.

Accessory Friday-Elastic Hair Wrap by Gara Danielle
Not everyone can pull off something like the Elastic Hair Wrap by Gara Danielle, but if you can we highly suggest doing so. Each has elastic banding and ties behind the head.

Taylor Made Clothes
Taylor Made Clothes is a clothing company that makes some beautiful designs. They make "handscreenprinted and embroidered clothes for living and flying." We don't know what that means, but some of our favorites tops include the Bird Tree Sheer Tee, the Pollination Sheer Tee, and Floating Hearts Sheer Tee.
New at Busted Tees
Busted Tees also has new tees. With plenty of time to purchase it before St. Patrick's Day, they've released Irish I Was Drunk. Maybe some will not like this tee because they don't like the connection between the Irish and drinking, but we don't really care. The Shirt Snob is Irish, and we love it!
