Jerkass Clothing Co.
Good morning readers! The Shirt Snob was emailed recently about a t-shirt company, Jerk Ass Clothing Co., so we thought we'd pass this along to you. Besides the typical state humor you find at many tee sites, they have some funny tees. Some are a little much to quote on this blog, and some of the humor we just don't get (link has a Sopranos spoiler, boo), but overall, it's a pretty good site. We like I'm Being Stalked On MySpace.

Monthly Round Up-May
It has been yet another great month here at Shirt Snob. We've found a bunch of tees and blouses that we just love! Here's a quick overview:
For tees, there were new ones at Busted Tees twice, discovered Ubershop Tees and PowerUp Tees, told you about the new ones at Threadless as well as the American Red Cross Contest winners, and reviewed the tees at Ktt Shirts.
For nicer shirts, there was the V Neck Tuxedo Top by Daryl K, Halter by Susana Monaco, Deep V Blouse by Catherine Malandrino, Tuxedo Cami by Juicy Couture, Flora Tank by Ella Moss, and the DeeDee Top by Bellekat.
We also looked at Miyo Design, Les Nereides, and Reform Jewelry.
Next month we are one year old. We have even more great tops to show you in celebration!

DeeDee Top by Bellekat
We know that this next top isn't exactly perfect for summer. But we know some of you must need or want something that covers you up a little more (live in the Arctic maybe?), and we love this shirt, so we decided we needed to share. The DeeDee Top by Bellekat is 100% cotton, with 2 inch cuffs on 3/4 length sleeves, a tie at the waist and 1 inch banding at the neck and front. We love wrap blouses, this one being no exception. The flowery paisley print is also very cute.

Ruffle Camisole by Juicy Couture
Hello readers! We hope you had a great long weekend! To start off the new week, here's a great cami by Juicy, the Ruffle Camisole. It has an empire waist with ruching along it as well as a small ruffle directly below. Near the bottom hem there is also a neat circular pattern. The spaghetti straps are adjustable, and there is a small bow directly below the right one. This top is also made of cotton, so it'd be great for all those super hot days we have coming up this summer.

Winners of the American Red Cross Contest, Plus New at Threadless
Remember that American Red Cross contest over at Threadless? Well, the winners have been chosen, and they are all great. They are Plus, St. George vs. the Dragon, and Florence Nightingale. Besides those, there is one new tee, Prehistoric Freak, that appeals to the anthropology major in the Shirt Snob as well as two old favorites as reprints, Damn Scientists and Well, This Just Really Sucks (which is a scrabble joke). Lots of great tees ready for the buying!

New at Busted Tees
There are some new tees at Busted Tees. We really like Emo-ticon and Stewart/Colbert '08. There's also a sale on the controversial New Mexico: Cleaner Than Regular Mexico.
Sale at Shop Bop
Hello readers! Sorry we haven't been posting this week. The Shirt Snob has gotten sick again, which in turn makes the new baby sick. It's been a mess over here! We're starting to feel better though, so we'll try to post as much as we can for the rest of the week.
For now, don't miss the Spring sale at Shop Bop. It's 30-70% off certain brands, such as Lauren Moffat, C & C California, Seven, and more. There's 22 pages of sale items, so there's sure to be something that you'd like!

Accessory Friday-Miyo Design
We know that while we were away on maternity leave, our boss featured one item from this company, but we like them so much we want to showcase a little more of what they have. Miyo Design has a bunch of great bags as well as jewelry. You all know how much we love bags here at Shirt Snob! A few of our favorites include the Poppies in black, the Hearts in denim, and the Leaves in green. We also really like the Guitar Pic Earrings in pearl. You already know about the clutches they have. Overall, it's a great site, and their prices are very reasonable. We hope you like them!
Saskia Cami by LaRok
Here's another cute top by LaRok, the Saskia Cami. Made of 100% silk, this top has an adjustable back tie with ball-bearing accents as well as spaghetti straps. A ruffle goes along the V-neck hem, and another ruffle goes down the center of the top. The Shirt Snob absolutely love the colors of this pattern, called water strokes. It definitely makes one think of water. Great for the beach! If you like this top, also consider the Criss Cross Babydoll Dress, which is the same pattern in a dress.

New Tees From Threadless
Six new Threadless tees are here. Honestly, they are all ok, but none of them really stand out to the Shirt Snob (Simon Says... and Nothing Rhymes With Orange are alright). However, one of our old favorites is back, Cookie Loves Milk.
Flora Tank by Ella Moss
You all know how much we love Ella Moss here at Shirt Snob. We've just found another beautiful tank top of hers that we have to share with you all. The Flora Tank has a beautiful purple and white floral pattern with ruffle detailing at the spaghetti straps. There is also ruching at the bust (which is lined) and elastic banding at the empire waist. And the best part is that it's only $73.50!

Free Shipping at PowerUp Tees
We just found out there's free shipping at PowerUp Tees. We'd never heard of them before, but they have some funny video game related t-shirts. Since the Shirt Snob husband is a gamer, we understand and appreciate these tees. We like Six Pac and Luigi, My Homeboy. Enter the code "free" at check out by the end of tomorrow for this deal.
Tuxedo Cami by Juicy Couture
If you are thinking you don't want to be spending quite so much on your shirts right now, here's a nice tank top that isn't quite as expensive as many of the others we showcase on Shirt Snob. The Tuxedo Cami by Juicy Couture is under $100. It has ruffles that start below the empire waist, which also has a drawstring, as well as small ruffles at the top hem and down the front of the bust towards the waist. There is tiny metal disc detailing at the bottom tier of the top as well. The spaghetti straps are also adjustable. It comes in two colors, Mary (brown) and Carrie (white).
Rings n' Chains Babydoll by LaRok
Here's an interesting top by LaRok. The Rings n' Chains Babydoll in sandstone is sexy and revealing. Definitely not a shirt that everyone could pull off, but on the right person it could be great. This tank has 3 inch banding, ring and chain detailing at the waist as well as two cut out holes. Ring and chain detailing is also at the back, and there is a removable necklace at the front above the top hem. There are also thick spaghetti straps and ruching below the waist. Also comes in oyster.

Deals at Amazon: Catherine Malandrino
Happy Monday everyone! We hope you enjoyed your Mother's Day yesterday, we certainly did! Last week, while searching around Amazon, we found a lot of great deals on last year's clothes. We thought we must share these deals with you all since we know how easy it is to get away with a previous season's clothing in many situations. Let us focus on Catherine Malandrino, we are all about her lately! The Black Chiffon and Satin Heart Blouse is over $200 off. It is 100% silk, fully lined, has a V-neck with satin banding underneath the bust, and a heart appliqué on the front bottom half. Also check out the Black Chiffon and Satin Heart Dress (also available in green) if you like this top.
Another beautiful find is the Cyan Blue Chiffon Beaded Halter Top. This halter has layered silk chiffon that is pleated underneath the bust. There are also mulit-colored beaded straps that tie around the neck. The best part, it's over $200 off!
Finally, check out the Black Beaded V-Neck Tunic Sweater. Made of a lightweight lambswool blend, it's perfect for those cooler summer nights at the beach. It has a V-neck, long flared sleeves, small slits at the hip, and beaded detailing at the neckline. And at 50% off, it's a steal!

Accessory Friday-Les Nereides
We just discovered Les Nereides Jewelry, thanks to I Am Fashion, a great blog we read. Their collection is full of flowers, hearts, and similar items. We really like it, but it's not something that everyone could pull off or would want to. Their online store is currently under construction unfortunately. Even more unfortunate, they don't seem to sell their jewelry in the United States yet. But you can contact them and ask them to either start that or finish their online store. I think this stuff is too cute for us not to have access to it over here!
Deep V Blouse by Catherine Malandrino
We just found the cutest blouse by Catherine Malandrno, the Deep V Blouse with Embroidery Lines in Ivory Petal. This V-neck top is 100% cotton, has sleeves that go to about the elbow, and has a beautiful boarders along the seams. The shirt is feminine and very sexy with the low front, and it's color combination is very pretty. This contrasts nicely with the slightly bohemian look it has. It's an unusual top, and we love it!

Review: Ktt Shirts
The people at ktt shirts were nice enough to pass a t-shirt along to the Shirt Snob in thanks for us writing about their site in March. So, we've decided to give it a little review so all our lovely readers know what we really think about them. And we must say up front, we like our tee!
The shirt came well wrapped in pink tissue paper. We asked for a large (still have some of that pregnancy weight on, it's only been a month since we gave birth after all!). The shirt is printed on American Apparel, which all our faithful readers know we really like. We felt the shirt was a little tight (as the website says, order one size up), but honestly we have no idea how it should be fitting since we are not used to our body yet and are still wearing pregnancy shirts. Either way, it is very soft. It is a little thin, better suited for the summer months than winter. We haven't washed it yet, but we don't fully dry most of our shirts so they won't shrink, so we don't know if it would or not. We really like the design too. It's cute, the colors contrast well, and it seems to be of a high quality.
The company was great to work with. The designer Kate is a pleasure to work with, very nice and professional. Each shirt is a limited edition printing of about 25 shirts, so you know if you get one you are probably the only person you know who has it. Ktt shirts also just redesigned their website and have added a new t-shirt design, so we highly recommend you go and check them out.
Monthly Round Up-April
Well, better late than never! The new Shirt Snob baby has made this post a little harder to get out this month, but since April an exciting month for us, we couldn't forget to do our monthly round up. So it's just coming a bit later than usual.
There were new tees at Busted Tees, a bunch of new ones at Threadless, we discovered Miele Fresca Tees and Rhidden Clothing, discovered Gama-Go's new spring collection, and once again praised Pregger 'n Proud with a review of the tees they were kind enough to send us.
As for blouses, there were a bunch of great ones we found this month. Our favorites include the Dry Knit Linen Slim Tank and the Pleated Baby Doll Tee, both by adam+eve, the Artemis Smocked Lace Top by Paul & Joe, the Tinkerbell Top by Sweetees, and the Edita with Chiffon Babydoll Top by Diane von Furstenberg.
Of course, there were tons of sales in April too that we told you about. Too bad they are all over now, or else we'd rehash those as well. We think it was a great month, the addition of Anderson William making it the best month of the Shirt Snob's life!

Tee Sale at Fred Flare
There's a $9.99 Tee Party at Fred Flare right now. A bunch of their tees are on sale, so go see if you like any! We like The Doors.
Last Day of Threadless Sale, Plus More Tees
Today's the last day of the Threadless $10 sale, and there are six new tees (we like No Peeking, Pessimistic or Optimistic?, and The Horror in Romantic Comedies) and five new reprints (including our favorites, Dark Side of the Garden, The Communist Party, and My Pet Human, which the Shirt Snob husband bought during the last sale). Don't wait for the next sale, many of these tees may no longer be available then. So go and check them all out!

Ubershop Tees
We just found out about the t-shirts at Ubershop. Some of them are a little much for the Shirt Snob, but there are others that are funny and cute. If you are easily offended, don't go here, but otherwise it might be worth a look. There are also a lot of men's shirts too, and you can make your own shirt if you would like as well.
Sunflower Embroidery and Cutout Blouse by Catherine Malandrino
Here is a cute blouse by Catherine Malandrino, the Sunflower Embroidery and Cutout Blouse. It has eyelet and embroidery detailing throughout, is sheer, has four button closures at the front, scallop detailing around the edges, and 3/4 length sleeves. The Shirt Snob thinks that this might be a hard top to wear, not one that anyone can get away with. But if paired correctly, it could really pull together an outfit.

Cinco de Mayo sale at Busted Tees
Today only you can get the Cinco de Mayo tee for only $13.99 at Busted Tees. Just enter the code "cinco" at checkout.
Accessory Friday-Reform Jewelry
The Shirt Snob discovered Reform Jewelry before giving birth, we don't remember how exactly (Lucky Magazine perhaps?). What drew us in was the Owl Necklace. The Shirt Snob's grandmother collects all things owl, so we have always liked them too. But there are many other nice pieces here as well. The Octopus Necklace is fascinating, as are the Antler Earrings and the Tentacles Earrings. There's even an Owl Eyes Ring! This site has plenty of both silver and gold, which is important since many people only where one or the other, the Shirt Snob included.
Halter by Susana Monaco
You all know how much we love Susana Monaco! Here's another halter of hers that we just have to tell you all about. This 100% silk top has a deep V-neck, ruching at the bust, and there's contrast banding at the empire waist and the bottom hem. The Shirt Snob thinks what we really love about this top and many others by Monaco is the prints. These colors blend so wel together into such a unique and fun shirt. It's just perfect for the warmer weather that is here, especially today in Boston!
V Neck Tuxedo Top by Daryl K
Happy Friday readers! Boy, is the Shirt Snob ready for this week to be over! We're never getting sick again, especially with a three-week old in the house! To make ourselves feel better, we may buy this next top. The V Neck Tuxedo Tee by Daryl K is cute, and we absolutely love the color. Sure, it is more a fall color, but you can really wear it whenever. It can just carry you into the fall. This top has ruching at the front and back with banding detail at the neck and the waist. It is semi-sheer and made of mostly tencel.

Sale at Threadless
Hello readers! Sorry for the lack of posts, the Shirt Snob developed an infection and was in the hospital for a few days. We are now home but very tired. So this will be a quick post. Threadless started their $10 sale yesterday, so head over there pronto before all the best shirts are gone. The sale ends at midnigth on May 8th, and there are five new tees and five reprints that are included in the sale. Good luck finding your favorites!
