Hello faithful readers! We are sorry we didn't post an accessory on Friday. The Shirt Snob had a conference to go to, and we didn't leave enough time to pack! And moving around with the big pregger belly is getting harder and harder to do. We hope to make it up to all of you with this cute top. The Monterey Sweater by Ya-Ya is great for those of you who still want sweaters, whether it's because you live in a colder area or just like them. Made of a rayon and linen mix, this cardigan is crocheted, has a draped collar and a belt that goes around the waist. There is tassle detail at the ties, wooded bead detail at the sleeves and edges, and wide sleeves. This is a great sweater to throw over your favorite top.

We are so glad our theme today is tank tops. We just found a new one from ingwa; melero, the Zaragoza Spaghetti Top, and we are so excited to show it to you. This 100% silk tank has cross over spaghetti straps, a V-neck, a lined chiffon body, and ruching at the waist. There are also four buttons at the back. On and below the bust, there is embroidery detail in the shape of flowers that is just beautiful. When we see a top like this, the Shirt Snob really wishes she wasn't pregnant anymore so she could buy it, it's just too wonderful! Hopefully it'll still be around in a few months for us.

Sticking with the idea of having themes each day, today we are going to look at tank tops. Yes, this is an easy one since there are so many new ones out therein everyone's spring collections. But the Shirt Snob is preparing for a weekend away, so we are ok with taking the easy route. After all, you all will need new tanks for the upcoming warmer months, won't you? This first one is great. The Wood Tank by Vince could be worn casually or with something a little more dressy like a cute skirt. There is ruching at the bust line, smocked banding at the back, spaghetti straps, and wooden beading along the bust going into the back. We love the wood beads, it's a little different and fun. Sure you can't throw this into your washing machine because of that, but I'm sure you would be willing to pay a little extra for a dry cleaner so you could wear this top.

Yesterday we were all about tunics, today it's t-shirts. Maybe we should theme the rest of the week too. There are three new ones at Busted Tees, College Ruled, Tom is NOT my friend, and Spain: Where no means no!. All of these t-shirts, like most of their tops, are available in both men's and women's sizes.
It's Threadless time again. This week, there are eight new shirts, four of which are reprints. Of the new shirts, we like the cute Lil' Soap and the artsy Frida's Garden the most. As for the reprints, Captain Awesome is awesome (we like Generic Girl), Sally Finds a Stray is cute, and Evolution is good if you like a bit of dark humor.

Let's make today tunic day! This next one is more sexy and flirty than the last, but it's just as cute. The Dot Tunic by Diane Von Furstenberg is a tube tunic. It has elastic shirred banding at the back, a flare on towards the bottom hem which is surged, and it is fitted throughout the body. This top is also lined and both are made of mostly silk. We really think the pattern is what sets this top apart from the rest. It's so much fun to look at, and the colors go great together.
We hope that everyone had a great long weekend! The Shirt Snob was sick in bed all weekend, so it was relaxing at least. We found a great new top for you all though while in bed, the Deep V Tunic by Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent. We haven't seen something so feminine and delicate looking in a while. Made of 100% silk, this top has a band going across the waist that ties in the back, is sheer with a lining, and has gold beading along the uneven hems of the sleeves and the botton as well as on one side on the front. We love Vincent's tunics, and this one is one of her best. The color jade is great too (it also comes in indigo), you'll really stand out and look your best wearing this top.

Yay Friday! Long weekend! And the Shirt Snob husband actually has a long weekend too, just shocking! To celebrate, we want jewelry. This week for Accessory Friday, we are yet again showing you jewelry. We can't help it, it's all just so pretty! Today's jewelry comes from Anna Maa, who makes rings, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings. Plenty of the bracelets are pretty, the earrings are all nice too. But what we are really obsessed with today are her rings and necklaces, specifically the gem stone ones. For example, look at the Smooth Yellow Chalcedony Cluster Necklace, with it's light yellow gems clustered on a 16" gold filled necklace. Or how about the Ruby Heart Necklace, a deep red ruby on a 17" chain. If only we had found that before Valentine's Day! And the rings! We must admit, the Shirt Snob has a thing for wire rings, especially when the wire is wrapped around a beautiful stone. Our absolute favorite ring is probably the Citrine Gold Wrapped Ring, which has golden faceted citrine on gold filled wire. The Pink Shell Pearl Sterling Wire Ring is also stunning. Basically the Shirt Snob is enamored with this stuff. If we win the Powerball on Saturday, this is the first place we're heading. There is just so much more on the website, definitely go take a look for yourselves. The designer also has a blog where she updates about her collections and a newsletter that you can sign up for to get updates.
The shirt snob is rather picky when it comes to anything that goes over a shirt. It has to be attractive, simple enough not to distract from our shirts, practical, yet still fashionable and fun. This next item definitely fits all of those demands. The Sweet Blazer by Alice & Olivia certainly is sweet! It is fitted, has double hook and eye closures in the front and 3/4 sleeves. But what we love about it is the leather! Two inch trim goes along all the hems as well as all along the waist. This gives it a nice edge while still keeping it's clean lines and finished look. This is one item that we really want right now.
We're pretty excited here around the Blogpire. Over the past few months we've been cooking up a new site to bring to you - ReallyNatural.com. If you need tips on living naturally (Birkenstocks not required) - then this is the site for you. ReallyNatural.com is your resource for product reviews of all of those consumer food, health and beauty, and household goods marketed as 'natural', 'organic' and 'environmentally friendly'.
You'll learn as Liesel and Mikko test the waters and offer tips on what it means to 'live naturally.' And where else are you going to find a review on Ecover Ecological Toilet Bowl Cleaner or a nice Organic Wine: 2004 Jelu Malbec and perhaps your didn't buy the right gift on Valentine's Day and should have looked into Chocolate Bars For Your Eco-Conscious Honey. Whatever you're need to be more natural - ReallyNatural.com will have it.

It's that time of the week again, time for more Threadless tees! There are two new ones that we like, the Superstition and the Bad Teddy tees. So Lovely is also reprinted, it would have been a good one for Valentine's Day. Remember to exercise your right to vote by heading over to Threadless and voting on which entries you'd like see printed in the future.
If you were drawn to the Kimono's in Memoirs of a Geisha, here's a great top for you. The Kimono Top by Geren Ford will work great with any body type and is very comfortable. Made from a lightweight silk, it has a V-neck, cap sleeves, and a loose fit. There is a colored band starts on the V-neck and goes down the front of the shirt to the hem in a Y shape. An adjustable silk drawstring ties around the empire waist as well. Comes in two different colors, floral and striped. A few sizes are backordered until the end of the month, but for a top like this, we're sure you can wait two weeks. Also check out the Kimono Dress for a longer version that you can still wear it with jeans.

Here's another cute tank top, the Crinkled Silk Georgette by Marc by Marc Jacobs, and it has a few similarities with the previous Rebecca Taylor top. This top is also 100% silk and also has ruffle detail at the neck. Besides that, it has a pleat detail on the front and back and banding at the waist. A hidden zipper is on the side, and the lining is an ivory color that contrasts the black top layer. The great thing about this shirt is you can wear it with almost anything. It'll make a pair of jeans look a little nicer, yet you can always wear it with dressier pants or a skirt. We love tops that work in a variety of situations, you can definitely get your money's worth out of this one.
Happy Wednesday everyone! Hopefully those of you snowed in like the Shirt Snob has been able to dig yourselves out. We have been having tecnical difficulties in the last few days, but in the meantime, we've found a great top that you will love. It is designed by Rebecca Taylor, who as you know is one of our favorite designers. The Beaded Cami is made of 100% silk and has beaded detail as well as a ruffle at the neckline. There is also pintuck detail at the bust, a surged hem, it's double layered, and it has braided straps (weren't they big on Project Runway a few
weeks ago?). This top is comfy, sexy, and looks incredibly fun to wear. It comes in flamingo, peacock, and driftwood.

We are stealing our Accessory Friday this week from the Shopping Blog. They found a great item, and we just have to tell you about it. The Derby Hat by Lily Pulitzer is lovely! It is made of straw with a printed sash around it, and it comes in two sizes. If you are a Lily fan, this is definitely for you. Although you can't buy directly off of the Lily website, here is a list of places you can buy online. You don't really see much Lily in the north east, at least not in the circles that I travel in, but as a fan of the brand, we would love to put on this hat and pretend we were at the Kentucky Derby or a southern picnic.
Yay, it's Friday! Here in the north east we are expecting a snowstorm that will ruin the Shirt Snob's weekend plans, but we're just doing our best to ignore that right now. If you are also stuck inside because of the weather, consider this new site if you are bored, $weet-$avings. They are "a girl's guide to the best online shopping deals" according to their website. Right now some of their deals include 10% off at Espirit and 15% off at Gap. So if you are in the mood to shop and want to justify it, check out this site before you buy.

The Shirt Snob loves the next top, the Long Cami by Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent. The embroidery is just amazing, so intricate! There's also eyelet detail throughout the body and embroidered scallop detail at the V-neck. There is smocked banding at the waist, ruching at the bust (which is lined), it is semi-sheer throughout the body, and it has spaghetti straps. We love how it's paired with some capris in the picture, but skinny jeans would work well also. If you're looking for a longer cami or tank for your vacation or spring wardrobe, definitely consider this one!
New tees from Threadless again! They've been going crazy with the number of shirts they are making. Thanks For the Help Young Man is funny, but we really love New Dangers In The Wood because we love all things scary, spooky, and in any slight way connected to Halloween. In the reprints, check out Doodle Bug, Pillow Fight, and The Communist Party.

Sometimes you want a cute top, but you don't want to spend a fortune to get a designer that you know. How do you find a good place to buy though? Well, here's one great place that the Shirt Snob just learned about, JEE, by designer Jee Chang. The online shop is full of a bunch of shirts that we love and would buy if we weren't pregnant. Some of our favorites include the Jewel Neck Tank, another Jewel Neck Tank, yet another Jewel Neck Tank, and these long sleeved tees (which are called Jewel Neck Tanks, which must be a mistake in this instance). Our only beef with the company is that they need to be a little more creative in the names of their clothes.
Here's a cute top that has a rather bohemian appeal. the String Halter by Susana Monaco is casual and comfortable. You can't help but look like a laid back, easy going person when you wear this. It has ruching at the bust, smocked banding, and banding at the neck and straps. The bottom hem is surger, there is a thick tie at the waist and a thin one behind the neck, and it's semi-sheer.

All our faithful readers know how much we love Ella Moss here. We just found a new top of hers that we didn't know of, so we thought we had to show all of you as well! The Nailhead Cami will flatter any body type. It has ruching at the bust and a flowing waist that leads to an asymmetrical hem. We love the brown, camel, pink, and turquoise studs at the bustline. This top also comes in black and silver. Similar items include the Nailhead Deep V in bark and white and the Nailhead Dress.
Happy Monday everyone! We hope that you all enjoyed the Superbowl yesterday. The Shirt Snob is excited to have our Sundays back, free to force the husband to do what she wants, instead of being stuck watching football each and every week, whether or not the Patriots are on. To reward ourselves now that the season is over, let's shop! Here is a great top that we love, the Dream Spaghetti Top by Lotta Stensson. This halter truly is a dream. It has metal sequins, embroidery, and wooden beads at the bottom hem and on the bust. It ties behind the neck, has ruching at the bust, and elastic banding on the back. We think this shirt is such a great addition to any outfit. It's fun and sexy and will definitely turn heads. Very similar is the Rustic Dream Tie Back Halter, which is just a little different in the beading and in black. Both of these tops remind us of the beach, which is probably the reason we like them so much. For those of us not going south this winter, summer is only four months away!

For Accessory Friday, check out khW jewelry. The website is done in flash or something, so we can't link to individual items, but everything is just so amazing that you all should go over there and browse. There are both necklaces and earrings. Our favorites are the Peach Moonstone Faceted Drop necklace, the Orange Chalcedony Drop necklace (which is on sale), the Rose Quartz, Garnet, Pink Sapphire earrings (also on sale), and the Pomegranate Charm earrings (on sale as well). The jewelry is unique and beautiful, we would love one of everything. You can never have too much jewelry after all.
You must all think that the Shirt Snob is obsessed with t-shirts today! That isn't the case, although tees are much more comfortable to wear right now for us than anything else. But to prove we also like pretty tops that we can't fit into, here's a great new top from Susana Monaco that we wish you would all buy so we can live our skinny fantasies through you. The Print Tube is pretty and sexy and would hide a small belly if you have one (I know many of you are still working through your holiday weight gain, just admit it). This top has shirred elastic banding at the bust, ruffles at the top hem, and sequin and piping detail at the bottom hem. It's made of a silk/cotton mix with the trim 100% silk.
While looking for pregger clothes (the Shirt Snob's current obsession, we can always use new clothes in the pregger wardrobe), we found Preggers n Proud. While they sell mostly shirts for pregnant women, they have a couple of tees for the rest of you that we just have to share. There is a great one, Men Who Change Diapers Rule! that comes in both a men's and women's version. There's also another great men's tee, Good Daddies Are HOT! With Valentine's Day right around the corner, these two men's shirts would be a great gift. We are thinking of giving one to our husband, but of course he reads this website, so Surprise Shirt Snob Husband!!!
There are also new shirts at Threadless. They have five new tees (including The Outdoor Mix, which a Shirt Snob friend has already bought, and Best Mime Ever) four new ones from OMG Clothing (such as You Win Again Gravity), and an OMG reprint (one of our favorites-What Would Macgyver Do?). We are just in love with The Outdoor Mix tee, we may buy it now and just guestimate our post baby t-shirt size!
There are a few new tees at Busted Tees right now. We like No Strings Attached, although for those of you who get this new Chuck Norris obsession, Hero is for you. The Shirt Snob is so pregnant, we haven't worn our t-shirts from Busted Tees for months. We almost forgot about them! Some other tees that we love from them include Blow Me and Visit Cuba.
The Shirt Snob's sorry we've been away all week, it's been a long one! Hopefully we can make up for all of that today! For the entire month of February, for every purchase of $100 or more you make from Pink Mascara, you are entered to win a free Kooba Sienna in cream, espresso, or black. There are other details, so check them out if you are interested. Their winter sale is still going on, with 30-70% off many items, so here's a great way to get a lot of cheap clothing and maybe win a purse!
