Review: Delicious Tees

Deliciouslogo.jpg

We recently heard from Delicious Tees, a women's t-shirt company. They wanted to send us some shirts for review. We were excited as they have some really pretty designs and a wonderful and inspiring message to give. Here's what the company says about themselves (as they put it better than we ever could:

While the tees are aesthetically fresh and trendy, they more importantly promote a message of love and unity, rooted from the female experience. Each tee features an inspired thought paired with an illustration. In addition, the Tees come together as a sister set to tell a story of growth. Delicious Tees deeper purpose is to evoke social commentary, strengthen a woman's sense of self, and arouse a spark of creativity and purpose.

We were sent two tees. First up is Instrument in medium. The first thing we think when putting this shirt on is that we would definitely wear this! It fits great - the length is about to mid hip, and the shirt is loose without being baggy. The sleeves aren't too tight either, which we have run into now and then. There is double stitching at the sleeves and bottom hem too. The design is perfect as well, not a flaw anywhere. And you can see by the picture that it's a very pretty design. The quote on the shirt is "An instrument of peace and love." We really like how the inspirational quota is woven in to the artistry. It's not too in your face and is instead a part of the overall design. The tee is also an interesting heather brown color that we really like and is very wearable.

The next tee up is Wisdom Tree. This tee is a large. It's a little more loose in the body and comes to the lower half of the Shirt Snob's hips. It'd be perfect for us if we were to gain 10 lbs (which hopefully won't happen any time soon!). The design has a few different phrases worked in to it including "Open my soul" and " Collective wisdom." This design is not as crisp as the Instrument tee, but we suspect that it is supposed to be a bit aged looking. We really like the write up for this tee:

As the Universe expressed its wisdom through them, those roots, firmly set in their foundation sprung forth branches of strength and beauty. And the trees, now intertwined, extended towards the sun with the grace and stability afforded to those who know THEY ARE LOVE.

Delicious Tees offers sizes XS to 2XL, so many women of different sizes can wear these shirts. They are also all tag less. We like that, but in replace of the design there's a pretty graphic that you can see on the outer part of the tee. If you have long hair that covers it, that isn't a problem. But if you have shorter hair and want one of the company's white shirts, this will be seen. Both the shirts held up well in the wash, and any shrinkage was minimal.

We are definitely big fans of Delicious Tees. Their designs are amazing, their fit is perfect, and we highly recommend them to the women on your shopping list this holiday season or for a little treat for yourself!
