Accessory Friday-Diane von Furstenberg Jackets

dvfjacket1.jpg In this week's Accessory Friday, we are looking at one of the best accessories to a shirt, the jacket! A jacket can be a great compliment to a top, not just a means to warm up or to cover up what you are wearing. Here are two of our recent favorite finds, both made by Diane von Furstenberg. The Zebra Jacket in Allspice is wonderful because it is so practical yet so beautiful. It has 5 buttons in the front, a belt that ties in front, and flap patch pockets at the bust and waist. It is form fitting enough to allow you to keep your shape (we hate bulky coats unless it's 10 degrees out), and the rusty red color, 3/4 length sleeves, and the plaid make this jacket a natural choice for the fall.

dvfjacket2.jpg Our other much adored jacket find is the Jemma Jacket, also in Allspice, although this allspice is a very different color from the other. There is a single button in front, a sewn in belt in the back, ruching at the shoulders, piping along the seams, and a collar. The inside is also lined with 100% silk. The red color is outstanding and what makes us crave this coat, and with the softness of the velour, there isn't a more romantic jacket out there.
