Knitted Tunic by Catherine Malandrino

malandrinotunic.jpg The Shirt Snob has become a big fan of knitted items, especially in the last few months since we started knitting lessons. Therefore, this next shirt is right up our alley. The Knitted Tunic in Arctic by Catherine Malandrino is stunning work. Many knit tops can look clunky, boring, and very unflattering on most body types. This isn't the case with this top, for it is sheer, has thick spaghetti straps, and shows off just the right amount of skin. There is double layering at the bust area, and there is a different detailing at the bottom to give it some extra personality. Also, this shirt is made out of baby alpaca, which is one of the softest materials out there. If you like this top, you may also like the Crochet Tunic Tank in white, also by Catherine Malandrino. This top also is sheer with double layering in the bust with spaghetti straps but with a different design knit pattern.
